Problem with Handle
I do really love the tub filler, it works great… until the handle falls off, I have re set the set screw several times and now it is just stripped out. After turning the tub of I have to take the handle off the try and get it to go back on to turn it off. I don’t know if we can just replace the cartridge or have to simply install a new one. My home is just over a year old. My entire house has Delta fixtures but this is the only faulty one.

VERY DIFFICULT TO INSTALL
HAD THIS FAUCET INSTALLED ABOUT 10 MONTS AGO, IT WAS THE SECOND ONE THE FIRST JUST COULD NOT GET INSTALLED DUE TO A MANUFACTER DEFECT, IT WAS REPLACED BUT IT ADDED 8 WEEKS TO THE PROJECT. WHEN THE SECOND CAME IN IT TOOK 2 MEN OVER AN 3 HOURS TO GET IT TO FIT PROPERLY. NOW 10 MONTHS LATER IT HAS A DRIP FROM THE HANDLE.

Just stunning!
I’m waiting for the plumber to install, but I am so pleased with the look and quality of this tub filler. My master bath remodel is almost completed and I used all matching Delta products. The quality and look is high end. You can install it so the handle sits in the right or left side, but since it operates with a 90 degree rotation, I wanted it to rotate towards the tub, so it’s on the left side. It a heavy, sturdy filler and I can’t wait to use it!

I am in awe. This tub faucet is the prettiest one I've ever seen. It positively shines. Very luxurious and adds a lot to my bathroom. It's heavy-duty. I am most impressed by the water flow. I am a customer for life.

Great Look and Functionality
This tub filler is the perfect combination of traditional elegance with a modern look. The curved top give it a traditional feel, while the smooth lines and stainless steel finish, make it feel modern. It truly is a blend of both styles. The T4777 comes standard with a lever handle, but you can get a cross handle as an option. The filler and the rough in valve are sold separately so make sure you purchase both. This is compatable with the R4700-FL or R4700-FLWS(with stops). The built in stops on the FLWS make it really easy to turn off water without having to shut down the whole house. This is not only convenient during install, but also when trouble shooting or replacing parts down the road. This is a great product at a reasonable price.

Absolutely love this!!
This faucet really added flare to our bathroom! It gave a little modern touch to the older claw foot bathtub we have. I’m absolutely loving it! Not only does it look great, but I’m using less water and can’t even really tell, so saving money in my pocket and the better for the environment. It’s a win win! I also really like the shower sprayer attached to the side of it. Really handy.

Beautiful piece
best part of the bathroom, freestanding faucet for the tub, with a gorgeous handheld sprayer that has 5 holes for a great shower spray. The base comes separate and goes in first so that you can add the faucet in and to keep it steady and not able to fall over. This is great and doesn't have to be attached to the tub at all, just make sure you get it close enough to the tub so you aren't getting water everywhere. Easy to clean, just wipe down and dry with a chamois. Great addition to the bathroom.

Beautiful Faucet!
Nice stand alone faucets for the tub are not easy to find! This one is awesome! It's super sleek, minimal but does exactly what it's designed to do. It fits our stand alone tub, perfectly! I love the stainless steal look, very classy! The faucet works well and the detachable hose is wonderful, highly recommend!

How do you remove the handle in order to reset the rotational limit stop. I am guessing it came with pre factory settings, and the water is barely warm.

There is a small set screw cover that you can remove with a thin flat head screwdriver or fingernail. Under this you will find the set screw, This will need to be removed with a 3/32" Allen wrench.

Can I use a soft supply line for this tub filler?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet Floor Mount Tub Filler Trim model T4777-SS-PR-FL.
This is installed with an R4700-FL or R4700-FLWS valve rough. R4700-FL has inlets for 1/2" copper sweat connections. R4700-FLWS has threaded 1/2" NPT female inlets. Adapters would be needed for Pex or other supply pipes.

I have a T477-RBFL. Flow through the tub filler is great! Flow through the hand-held unit sprays EVERYWHERE; its useless without giving it your absolute full attention. Is there an in-line flow adjustment valve that can be installed on the hand held line?

The Delta 59421-BL-PK included with the Stryke T4777-BLFL is manufactured with a flow restrictor that allows 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. If the pressure or flow is too high we recommend reducing the water flow coming through by adjusting the handle to close the valve gradually.

Are these self mixing valves? Or, do they need a temper valve ?

Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The T4777-FL floor mount tub filler trim includes the RP73598 cartridge for mixing hot and cold water. This cartridge has a rotational limit stop, but it is not a pressure balanced cartridge. An RP46074 cartridge can be used instead as a pressure balanced option. How do I adjust the rotational limit stop? The video link posted in a previous question does not work.

To adjust the rotational limit stop on the Delta Faucet Stryke® Single Handle Floor Mount Tub Filler Trim In Chrome MODEL#: T4777-FL expose your valve cartridge and turn the limit stop counterclockwise to the desired setting. In some instances, setting the Rotational Limit Stop in the hottest position (full counterclockwise) could result in scald injury. It is necessary to adjust the Rotational Limit Stop so that the water coming out of the valve will not scald the user when the handle of the valve is rotated to the hot side.
