Tools for Shower Door Install

For successfully installing your Delta® glass shower door, you’ll need a few common tools and some more specialized ones.

  • Masking or painters' tape
  • Pencil
  • Gloves
  • Eye protection
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Measuring tape
  • Philips screwdriver
  • Drill with 1/8" and 3/8" drill bit

 

Tools you may need to purchase:

  • 32 TPI Hacksaw
  • Drill bits: 1/8" tile bit, 1/4" tile bit, 1/8" drill bit, 3/8" drill bit, 5/16” drill bit
  • Shop vacuum cleaner
  • Stud finder
  • 3" deep miter box
  • 3′ level or longer
  • 100% silicone sealant and tube for applying it
  • Metal file
  • Rubber mallet
  • Tin snips
  • Non-slip cut-resistant gloves

Tools you may need to purchase

Depending on your bathroom’s stud location, you may need to purchase longer screws to be able to reach the stud.
