Nice fixture but Disappointing Finish
While Delta makes a great faucet, the black stainless finish has been very disappointing. There is no way way to keep it spot free. This finish shows everything from water spots to finger prints. We recently built our forever dream home and installed the Delta black stainless fixtures in the kitchen, bar, master bath and laundry room. I wish now we had gone in a different direction.

My home was completed in February 2022. It took me several months to realize my pot filler was slowly dripping. As time has gone by the dripping is worse-it’s fairly steady. Now I know why I constantly had spots on my glass top. For the price I expect better.

Wondering whether this unit could be installed 180 flip at the wall and then have the faucet also installed 180? There is an overhang shelf that’s keep us from installing it as intended.

Can I install the Pot Filler Faucet model 1190LFL-RB using a drop ear?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 1190LFL-CZ.
This faucet installs to a 1/2" IPS pipe that extends 1/2" past the wall surface. A drop ear may be able to be used. See the installation manual for more information:

What does "only at Delta trade" mean?

Why can this not be connected to hot water?

Pot fillers are intended for cold water use only due to it not having a scald prevention. This would be immediate hot water which could cause an injury.

How many inches above the stove do you put this pot filler?
