Delta® Beverage Faucets conveniently provide purified drinking water in a wide range of styles and finishes. Air gaps are integrated within the faucet for easy use with a reverse osmosis system. Delta Beverage Faucets are for cold water installation only and ideal for any reverse osmosis (RO), under the counter water filtration systems, or chillers but cannot be used with Instant Hot tanks. If installation does not require an air gap, the connection can simply be cut or coiled out of the way under the deck. Perfect for the pantry, butler's kitchen, or bar, but stylish enough to be featured next to your main faucet. Delta faucets with DIAMOND™ Seal Technology perform like new for life with a patented design which reduces leak points, is less hassle to install and lasts twice as long as the industry standard. It also exposes half inch opening in back of faucet that does not compliment the looks. Why not use low pressure check valve instead of air gap? Same function (prevents backflow), much quieter, and hidden application.

Is this style availability without the air gap?

Our current models of beverage cold water faucets include an air gap and can be used in three ways: With a reverse osmosis system, with a filtered water device, or directly to a cold water supply. If not using a reverse osmosis system, the drain and waste lines for the air gap can be coiled out of the way or cut. Can this faucet be used with an insinkerator instant hot water dispenser?

What is the little cut out/notch in the back?? None of the pictures online show the back of the faucet so wasn’t expecting that.

Is the water way all plastic? My reverse osmosis provider says that that ro water can not touch any metal and all waterways must be plastic.

Is this faucet compatible with chilled carbonated water? I produce carbonated water in an under-the-counter fridge (similar to a beer keg system), and want to dispense the water at the sink, like one would do with filtered water.
