Delta Beverage Faucets are for cold water installation only and ideal for any reverse osmosis (RO), under the counter water filtration systems, or chillers but cannot be used with Instant Hot tanks. If installation does not require an air gap, the connection can simply be cut or coiled out of the way under the deck. Perfect for the pantry, butler's kitchen, or bar, but stylish enough to be featured next to your main faucet. I am very happy with this beverage faucet, which I am using as a reverse osmosis faucet for drinking water at the kitchen sink (next to the regular faucet). The faucet design is clean and modern. The finish is pretty. I use the faucet often.

Unbearable air gap hissing
The hissing that comes from the air gap is unacceptable. I'm not talking about the gurgling/bubbling that comes from the sink drain, that is fine. I've got an in-line restrictor on the waste line between the RO system and the faucet and the drain line slopes smoothly directly to the plumbing pipe, but I continue to get an unbearable hissing from the air gap.
Would not recommend if you plan to use the air gap.

Disappointed
We bought a beverage dispenser in 2012 that started to leak several months ago. Delta sent me a replacement faucet that is impossible to install with our filter system that is a Delta PUR water filter system. We have heard this from two plumbers. Having to purchase new faucet and system seems like only option.
Can you help us with an answer please?

I love this Delta Beverage Faucet

Can I clean or change the aeration filter in the spout? If so, please provide instruction. Thank you.

The aerator in the spout can be unscrewed with the included plastic wrench. Plug the drain to avoid losing the aerator or the gasket behind the aerator. A replacement aerator and wrench are available as RP54977-1.2.
