[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy to use bar faucet. If your hands are busy you can just use the one handle to pour water. It’s very simple yet classic. Definitely love the height so you can get tall glasses in easily. Polished nickel goes well with stainless sink

Quick and easy installation
As I expected from Delta this faucet is quickly and easily installed. It fits perfect in our current bar sink, replacing an older dual handle unit. The finish is quite nice and the water flow control is very smooth. The only change I would make in design is to put a limit on the swivel movement, as a younger person might not always be that careful when turning on the faucet.

Can i use this faucet with an undersink instant hot water heater that will put out water at 205 degrees?

Thank you for your question. We do not recommend installing an instant hot water heater to the Delta 1953LF Faucet as our faucets have a temperature limitation output of 120°F (49°C) This is primarily a safety limitation and also higher temperatures may deform internal parts of the faucet.

Does this faucet come with a plate when your sink has three holes?
Thank you for your question, Kent! Model 1953LF does not come included with a 3 hole escutcheon plate. However, an RP77702 3 hole escutcheon plate can be used with this faucet. The 3 hole escutcheon plate would need to be purchased separately.

Will this faucet accommodate a faucet mounted water filter such as ex. Culligan brand? Also is this low lead compliant or lead free?

We do not recommend to attach a water filtration system to the end of the spout body. The weight can damage the spout and void the warranty. You can however, use a filtration system below the counter.
The model 1953LF is a lead free model.

Is this faucet either low lead compliant or hopefully lead free?
Thank you for your question, Missy18! Delta faucets meet or beat all state and federal lead requirements. Our DST or Diamond Seal faucets are completely lead-free, as the water never contacts metal in the faucet.

What is the part number for an aerator for an 1953LF kitchen faucet? Are they available without the tool. I work in a hotel with 122 rooms. It is unnecessary to have that many tools.

The Delta TRANSITIONAL Single Handle Bar Faucet MODEL# 1953LF uses the Delta DRYDEN Aerator - Water-Efficient - 1.2 GPM MODEL# RP52657-1.2. This can be purchased without the wrench.

The handle on my faucet has loosened up. I don't see any way to tighten it up. Can you tell me how to make that repair?
I am missing a part that has come off. It is the screw that keeps the neck of the spout attached to the main body of the faucet with the handle. It is located in the back of the neck where is articulates. I don't see it in the parts section.

The hex screw fell out on the bottom off the handle. What size is the screw so I can fix it

how do you remove the handle on this faucet?

You would have to remove the button cover on the handle, to gain access to the set screw. You will need a 1/8 inch allen wrench to loosen the set screw. I have included the parts diagram for the 1953LF, to show where the button cover is located.
