Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy duty This cold water faucet is made very well. It is very and fits perfectly. The Chrome does not fingerprint horribly which is nice to not clean up fingerprints all the time. The water flow does not spray you when filling up your cup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet! This is a nice traditional beverage faucet. The Crome finish is shiny and easy to wipe down, I don’t notice any issues with finger print residue. It helps to add convinces and contemporary style to any wet bar or kitchen. The faucet has a swing spout that makes filing large pitchers easy, it includes a ceramic valve so you have precise control over the water flow to prevent water splashing into surfaces. It is suggested to pair this faucet with a bar/prep sink and an undercounter water filter or chiller for easy access to pure, refreshing drinking water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Traditional Beverage Faucet in Chrome I received this Delta Traditional Beverage Faucet in Chrome as a sample from Influenster. This is a very high quality faucet. I actually thought I picked a kitchen sink faucet and I really wish that I had a place to put this. It’s very sturdy, says it is gaurenteed for life, has a beautiful design. I can imagine the water flow rate for this would be great for its intents purpose for a beverage sink. It looks very easy to maintain and clean based on the design and I always love when things are easy to clean! Would recommend!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks after 2 years Not thrilled that I have to disassemble and determined why the pivoting spout leaks for our R/O water faucet on this model 1960 AR DST. Well built? Not sure I can agree.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good faucet but pricey This faucet works great and matches with the Cassidy line. I just wish they offered something smaller and less expensive in the polished nickel finish. It’s large and $$$$.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the look- but good to know Love this beverage faucet, but it’s good to know and be aware, the top portion turns all the way around - an entire 360 degrees.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The large kitchen faucet version of 1960-DST I have not installed it yet because the larger sink faucet just like it is so awful! It has NO pressure to clean my dishes. As a result, I have to use 3 times the amount of water to clean them!! I do not like the large version of this small drinking water faucet! Very sorry I bought it!

Q&A

I’d like to use this faucet in a small bathroom.  It’s small size fits beautifully with a tiny cast iron sink we have. What would be the problem with using this with hot water?

Asked by: Tom B
Hi Tom, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 1960-AR-DST. We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible. This faucet does not have temperature control, so connecting directly to a hot water supply would be too hot to use safely. A separate tempering valve could be used to mix the water to a set temperature before getting to the faucet. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

Is the air gap built-in? Or optional? The current hole in the countertop is not big enough for the air gap. Can I use it without it?

Asked by: Josiah
Hi Josiah, thank you for your interest in the 1960-AR-DST! If the installation does not require an air gap, the connection can simply be cut or coiled out of the way under the deck. We recently installed the faucet. There is a chemical taste periodically. Usually after water has flowed for a while there is no chemical taste, although it returns after not using for an hour or so. Why is there an unpleasant chemical taste?
