All was installed to spec and correct. If, when used, there is excess soap, it doesn't drip into the sink; it drips down the side of the sink wall and sometimes the edge of the granite. Can the arm be changed out for a longer one?

I purchased this faucet at a local Home Depot yesterday, and unable to install it. So, how do I install this faucet for a single hole mount without the 10” escutcheon that is supplied with the item?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19780Z-BLSD-DST-R.
The 3-hole escutcheon is not used for a single-hole installation. This faucet model does not use a single-hole trim ring. Place the faucet above the sink and tighten the included mounting hardware under the sink. It can be helpful to swivel the spout to the left, opposite the handle, to help balance the faucet during installation.
