The Best Kitchen Faucet I Have Owned
When installed properly, this faucet is amazing. The water pick jet feature blasts through food stains. Make sure that you purge the water line before having water pass through the head of the faucet or you can clog the aerator. The handle is smooth and feels very premium.

Great faucet, BUT...
The gray plastic pipes preinstalled to the faucet with the red insert for hot water and the blue insert for cold water were installed backwards at the factory. Under the sink one more time :( Switched the pipe connections, working well now!

A marvelous sprayer
We purchased our new kitchen faucet a couple of weeks ago and have fallen in love with it! The three sprays make dish washing a breeze. The faucet style actually enhances the kitchen island. Recommend it to anyone looking for a functional as well as a beautiful kitchen faucet.

Cason
I bought this kitchen faucet a few days ago and had my plumber install it. It was very easy to do. My plumber said he loves Delta products and they are by far the best made. His only concern was the hose lines as they were plastic. He did say he has never had any problem with them though. We just love the faucet and all of the spray options. It is beautiful, functional, and easy to keep clean/spotless. I have always bought Delta and with our new house the first thing we did was get rid of the faucet the builder put in. Will be changing the bathroom faucets as well, and you know what I will be getting? A Delta product, a USA product.

good but
I bought this last week and had it installed, begore the installer left the flow went to zero after checking every thing out they found the small screen was clogged, they removed it and everything works great. If they hadn't found it I would not have known to look in that place for another screen.

Wife likes the soft spray.
Have only had a few weeks, it was easier to install than it was getting the old one out. I had a similar Delta in another house and liked that also with the magnetic head return.

I like the hight of the neck.
I am not very satisfied with the design. The water temperature is hard to control and, if you don't turn off the faucet just right, it doesn't close and water leaks and drips. I should have looked at the faicet where water comes out more carefully. The water stream for sparey is too strong and I don't know what occasions I need to use one of the spraying features other than full stream and spray.

So so...
I bought mine at Lowe’s, brought it home and installed it, all in an hour. When it came to the soap dispenser, though, the threaded part that’s supposed to slip through the pre-cut hole did not fit by a millimeter or two. Delta’s answer: you need to hire a stone mason. Can you believe it? My $250 faucet now will cost upwards of $500. Having a doctor come to your house is cheaper! I thought about uninstalling it and returning it, but got ‘the look’ from the Mrs, so that’s that. Now there’s a hole in the granite awaiting the stone mason or an unsightly cover. As far as the rest of it goes, the new ‘technology’ known as Spot Shield seems to be just a different way to spray the water. It requires three hands to use effectively, so don’t be taken in by this when comparing faucets! One last thing, the faucet is higher than most others it seems and the combination of height with a more directed stream of water means that if you’re not washing the dishes at the extreme bottom of your sink, water will splash all over the counter around the sink. Sorry, Delta...I bought this simply for name recognition...

Not sure if I’m happy
I think the quality is good but I don’t like the split spray or the shield spray. The soap dispenser is not good. There’s no bottle to fill (or remove to clean). You just pour the soap in from the top of the sink. You cannot see how full it is until it runs over onto the counter.

OK, but...
This faucet works good except for the feature called Shield Spray. It's supposed to help cut away food, etc. with a concentrated spray with a protective shield of water to stop the water from spraying all over the place. I don't think this works very well. You have a zone that the dish or bowl must be within the spray to keep the water contained. I found that the water seems to spray all over the place regardless. Messy.
I would not recommend purchasing the faucet for this feature. Look else where.
Other that that, the faucet looks good and seems function as described.

Looks great!
Bought this a week or so ago and just love the way it looks and so far the way it works. My only complaint is that adjusting the water temperature is a little more difficult but I’m getting used to that as well.

Q&A
Hello, I seem to be getting about 1gpm vs. 1.8gpm out of the faucet. Any ideas? Is there a governer or filter that can be removed? Can anything be removed to clean it out? Thanks!!
Thank you for your question, John! Model 19782Z-SPSD-DST uses a cashe or "hidden" aerator that requires an included wrench for removal. If you remove the aerator, it can be soaked in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to remove any mineral buildup or debris. If the flow does not improve with this part removed, there may be a blockage elsewhere in the faucet lines and we would ask that you contact us directly for further assistance.

How do you clean a the airator on a delta kit faucet model 19782Z ?
Hi, Ted C!
Thank you for your question. The aerator assembly in the sprayer assembly can be removed with the RP90248 Aerator Wrench. Once removed, we recommend to soak the aerator and sprayer assembly in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight to clean.
Best Regards, Rosanna

what diffrence between the Carson and Marca
Thank you for your question, machinist! The main difference between the Carson and Marca Single handle Pull-Down kitchen faucets would be the finish options, price and height. They are stylistically different as well. Below is a link to compare both models.
