Doesn’t shutoff correctly, must line up exactly.
I have put up with this faucet since 2019. The faucet handle is very difficult to get into exact shut off position. Delta has sent me 2 replacement cartridges which work for a couple of months, we have flushed system, lines etc as recommended. The issue is in the handle/valve design. It’s very upsetting when I find the hot water has been dribbling all night, but the issue is with both hot or cold. These cost too much to put up with this issue.

Great Finish Poor valve handle
Cons: We purchased the matte black Shiloh in 2020 and have gone through two cartridges since. They fail about a year apart from each other, the first time Delta's service was quick, this second time, i've been dealing with a dripping faucet for 3 weeks. Since this is the second cartridge, I asked for a replacement faucet, but that was denied. Pro's: The finish is fantastic, it's been a year and half since install and it looks great. Works like a drippy mess, but looks great.
Summary: Buyer beware. Good looks, bad mechanicals, weak customer service.

Wish I could use my counter top dishwasher!

Poor handle ruins everything
Everything about this faucet is nice, except for the handle. The design makes it so you have to line it up EXACTLY with the center before you turn it off. If you don't, then it drips constantly. This means that almost every single time I use the faucet, I have to make 2 or 3 attempts to turn it off before it stops leaking/driping water. I've had this for about 6 months and it drives me crazy. Too late to return it, so I might just have to eat the cost and buy a different one. Garbage design, not happy at all

Getting Concerned
We purchased the faucet in December 2019 and in less than 3 months the sprayer has a "dribble" from the back when in spray mode. We love the faucet and the features, but already concerned about the quality. I don't consider this a cheap faucet and certainly expected higher reliability than this.

Great pressure. Handle is a bit annoying.
I love the pressure and the the new feature where it doesn’t splash. The only thing is the handle. If it’s not in that one certain position it will keep running. If your in a hurry cooking or washing your hands you have to make sure it’s not running.

finally works
I bought a week ago. I installed it and it would not shut off. I complained and it took a week to get the replacement part. It was shipped regular mail. There was a gasket missing in the part in the original box. I assume they knew it because they immediately sent the new part.
To send it regular mail so it took a week to fix the facet which was bought brand new. Very poor. Now that it is working my wife loves the facet. My family has use DELTA facets for over 70 years I am not sure if I will ever buy another. Right now all the facets in the house are Delta.

Thank you for your inquiry! The spout assembly of the Delta Shiloh Kitchen Pull-Down 19790Z-SPSD-DST faucet does swivel 360 degrees. The included escutcheon plate is an optional installation part. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. The Shiloh Kitchen faucet only comes in the SpotShield Stainless finish, which would be one of the closest finish colors to a brushed nickel.

I asked a question last week as to if I could install the faucet with the handle in front. The answer mentioned installing it on the left side but did not provide an answer to my original question. Can someone please respond to my original inquiry?

Thank you for your question. I am sorry for the confusion. We recommend installing the Delta 19790Z-SPSD-DST Faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle facing the front of the faucet, however, the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink.Also, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Shiloh Pull-Down Kitchen 19790Z-SPSD-DST faucet is a Home Depot exclusive unit that comes with a soap dispenser as a feature of the collection. The soap dispenser does not have to be installed.

Where is the restrictor for water efficiency? we have low water pressure in our location and for good volume I want to remove it.

The mounting bracket assembly for this faucet includes a metal plate and two small machine screws. The instructions do not mention the metal plate or the machine screws. What is to be done with them?
