Super Nice Kitchen Faucet
I just replaced our kitchen faucet with this new delta model and we are quite pleased. The only improvement that could be made is you must make sure the lever is in the absolute correct position or the faucet will drip. Once you find the sweet spot all is well. It looks great and has great features.

Awful Water Pressure
The faucet has been a disappointment. The water pressure is awful. When I remove the head on the hose the pressure is fantastic, put the head back on and the pressure changes dramatically. The shield feature barely works due to the low pressure. Even had a plumber out to make sure it was installed correctly. Would not recommend people buy this unit.

Delta Shiloh Kitchen Faucet 1970Z-SPSD-DST
Happy with the faucet. Only negative is that you have to make sure the faucet handle is centered to shut off. Several times when shut off from the full hot or full cold position it would drip. Since we are over the learning curve it doesn't happen. Not a big problem.

I just bought this faucet to replace an older Moen faucet that started to fall apart. The biggest problem I had was getting the old faucet out. Once that was accomplished the rest was easy peasey. We like the looks and features of this faucet. I just wished we had purchased it sooner.

Stylish and Versitile
Purchased our Shiloh faucet at Lowe's and I had it installed in about an hour. It's stylish and versatile (has 3-spray modes). The method used to retract the spray head is both simple and effective (lead weight). I chose to leave the tightening wrench on the hose so if I need to tighten in the future, I won't have to look for it! My wife loves this faucet.

Great Faucet! A word on installation :-)
This is a wonderful faucet & I don't have any regrets on purchasing it. I would however offer a word of warning on the installation process based on personal experience. This issue involves the water supply line which runs thru the faucet body & brings water to the business end of the faucet. This faucet has a pull-out nozzle which of course has a flexible supply line. In order to pull out, the supply must of necessity be very supple & compliant. It is this compliance & suppleness which can lead to a problem with restricted water flow. In my case soon after installing the faucet, the flow rate mysteriously dropped precipitously. Turned out that the problem originated with the supply line being slightly compressed as a result of being pulled across an under sink object by the counter weight which pulls the sprinkler head back inside the faucet body. It doesn't take much compression of this supply line to cause a huge drop in flow rate. Other than this issue, I had no other problems with the faucet. Also I would like to point out that the Delta service personnel are very courteous & helpful!

Excellent choice
I have always admired Delta and it was a no brainier in regard to what brand to choose when it came to replacing our kitchen faucet recently. I have always wanted a pulldown model and could not be happier with this faucet! Also, the installation was a breeze in which only took me about 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

Nice faucet
I really like the features of this faucet. It has taken a little getting used to because the on/off, cold/hot movements are real tight or close however you want to define them. Much different than the faucet I replaced. The rinse spray has a jet coming from the middle that I'm not sure is supposed to be there which can cause back splash if you hit a dish the right way, that being my only objection to this point in time. I did not install the soap dispenser so I can't comment on it.

Elegant and Functional
This Shiloh faucet was purchased to replace a Delta Signature Model 470 originally installed 17 years ago. Our previous experience with Delta and the looks and feel of this faucet were the deciding factors for the selection. We have no hesitation to recommend Delta. Great design & high quality
I bought this unit to replace a similar one from a different manufacturer that had a spring enclosing the pull-out faucet tube. The farther you pulled it out, the harder it was to use. This Delta design with a weight retaining system is much easier to use. One thing to watch out for is the weight snagging on existing under-sink fixtures. In my case, all I had to do is place a smooth plank vertically for the weight to rub against.

Thank you for your inquiry! The spout assembly of the Delta Shiloh Kitchen Pull-Down 19790Z-SPSD-DST faucet does swivel 360 degrees. The included escutcheon plate is an optional installation part. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. The Shiloh Kitchen faucet only comes in the SpotShield Stainless finish, which would be one of the closest finish colors to a brushed nickel.

I asked a question last week as to if I could install the faucet with the handle in front. The answer mentioned installing it on the left side but did not provide an answer to my original question. Can someone please respond to my original inquiry?

Thank you for your question. I am sorry for the confusion. We recommend installing the Delta 19790Z-SPSD-DST Faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle facing the front of the faucet, however, the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink.Also, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Shiloh Pull-Down Kitchen 19790Z-SPSD-DST faucet is a Home Depot exclusive unit that comes with a soap dispenser as a feature of the collection. The soap dispenser does not have to be installed.

Where is the restrictor for water efficiency? we have low water pressure in our location and for good volume I want to remove it.

The mounting bracket assembly for this faucet includes a metal plate and two small machine screws. The instructions do not mention the metal plate or the machine screws. What is to be done with them?
