Rated 4 out of 5 by from Shiloh Faucet Features are exceptional. very smooth extend and retract of the spray head. Umbrella spray is a great feature. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the box had the incorrect instruction sheet. Instructions #111079 came with the faucet. THis sheet had none of the assembly parts on it. I was able to install in about 1/2 hour, but only due to I've worked as a service mechanical engineer for 35 years. A novice homeowner would probably be lost trying to decipher the instructions

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful until no longer is! I bought this faucet 7 months ago and worked fine for the first 5 months. The handle is is very hard to open or close the water and now the soap dispenser is not working properly. It is a bummer because it is a beautiful faucet, but no longer works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice features But is there a way to keep the faucet from spinning 360 degrees?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware I wish I would have read the reviews before buying this. It seems everyone has the same problem with the handle leaking constantly. Every time I turn it on, hot or cold it leaks until I shut it off. I have flushed the lines and changed the cartridges way to many times. An expensive product with a nice look but poor mechanics. Ive asked for a different style faucet more than once because it is such a problem and have been denied.

Q&A

Why when I turn the handle to cold, does hot come out? Turn off the hot water valve under the sink, and cold water comes out of the faucet. Please dont say the hot and cold lines are crossed, because they are not. Help

Asked by: Will
Hi Will, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19790Z-BLSD-DST. I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help! A possible cause of the issue would be a large difference between the hot and cold water pressure, causing crossflow. RP53468 check valves can be used on the supply line connections to prevent crossflow. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

My faucet is brand new and have only been using it about a week. The water flow slows down to the point of a trickle. I've removed the head multiple times to clean it and it works for a while then flow trickles again. What can be done?

Asked by: WADE
Hello Anonymous, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Low flow is caused by a blockage or debris, and we would recommend flushing. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. Best Regards, Nicole

We need to connect a portable dishwasher to our new Shiloh faucet, but the adapter I purchased doesn't fit. Can you please give me the size needed to fit this faucet? I understand we need to unscrew the piece on the faucet head to fit the adapter in.

Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Shiloh® Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet With Soap Dispenser And ShieldSpray® Technology In Spotshield Stainless MODEL#: 19790Z-SPSD-DST is not recommended adding a portable dishwasher too, as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Installation manual suggests "you may need" various tools, etc. plus SILICON. Where and how to apply SILICON?

Asked by: Gustav
Hello Gustav. Thank you for your question! We are happy to help you today! We recommend using a thin bead of silicone around the base of the faucet if the surface is uneven. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Renna

About two weeks ago I installed a Shiloh kitchen faucet. I noticed if when shutting off the faucet it continuous to drip. I then have to open the faucet and close it again. It seems the shut off valve in the handle is defective. It is pretty annoying.

Asked by: Rafi
Hi Rafi, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! We apologize for the issues you are experiencing.
