DON'T BUY THISWhy does Costco sell faulty products? I've had this for 2 1/2 months. Hot water barely trickles. Manual that comes with the product as well as online from Delta is not for this faucet. It seems many people have the same problem but Costco keeps selling it. So $190 to install, no hot water, buy another faucet, $190 to uninstall and install, return to Costco. Don't expect help from Delta. Don't trust positive reviews, they are usually posted after instillation, not months later when the item fails. Out on a limb here trying to get help which Delta does not provide and looking at major expense to get problem solved.

How would anyone know the specs of Varos faucets? The product itself, and Delta's website say nothing about the specs of the Varos faucet. The reach of the faucet, is not specified and one does not even know what kind of measurement is being taken (i.e. from where to where, or in what denominations, such as inches or centermeters) Poor back up both in box and on website that prevents accurate measurements to be taken.

Great features and appearanceWe had this wonderful faucet installed as part of my kitchen remodel and really love it!
It operates beautifully and looks great on our new stainless steel sink. We appreciate the high quality standards of Delta Faucets.
I want to just buy an extra matching soap dispenser for my Spotshield Stainless Varos kitchen faucet that I bought at Costco. Can I buy that from this site?
Asked by: Laurie
Thank you for your question, Laurie! The spotshield stainless soap dispenser is available as part number RP50781SP.
You can purchase Delta Faucet products at many local dealers and internet sites. If they do not carry a specific item in stock, the dealer should still be able to place an order for you.
I recommend using the store locator on our Delta website. Once there, enter your zip code and you will see a list of all the local dealers and phone numbers. Using this list may help you more easily find the item(s) you’d like to purchase.

My faucet has only been in for over a month and my water pressure is down to a slow trickle. Could it be a calcium build up? How do I trouble shoot this?
Asked by: Soozyque
Hello Soozyque,
Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you.
Identify which supply line is blocked by turning off a supply at the stop and observing flow when the handle is moved to the full mixed position. Then repeat for other side.
Shut off both supplies.
Move the handle to the full mixed position.
Disconnect the faucet supply line from the reduced flow side.
Position a bucket with the reduced flow side supply line connection inside the bucket.
Turn on the supply stop on the connected supply line side slowly, directing the water from the disconnected side into the bucket. *Use caution if this is hot water you have turned on*
Leave this flowing for at least 10 seconds.
Reconnect the supply line following the installation instructions.

Using the spray feature on the wand will stay in place when you shut the faucet off. The Shield Spray has to be held on in order for that feature to work.

It takes 2-3 minutes to get hot water from our 2 Delta Varus faucets. Water from nearby bathrooms is always hot before the kitchen & kitchenette faucets, even though they are the same or further distance from the water heater. Any idea why this happens?
Asked by: Stesuco
Hello Stesuco,
Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company. I am sorry to hear that your Varos™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Soap Dispenser And ShieldSpray Technology In Spotshield Stainless MODEL#: 19792Z-SPSD-DST is taking longer than normal to get hot water, which can be very frustrating. I am so glad that you contacted us, so we can get this taken care of for you!
We recommend the water heater be set at 120 or lower, this will allow the GPM to kick on the hot water heater and keep it hot. Next, make sure the hot and cold shut-offs are open fully and equally to prevent cross flow.
Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions.

Varos 19792Z-SD-DST handle is leaking in cold water position only. What may be cause? (cartridge?) Where to get parts near Seattle, WA. How to get handle off without wrecking it (I did loosen screw, but handle doesn’t slide off). Thanks!!
Asked by: Julie
Hi Julie,
Please accept our apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with a leak. We are happy to help!
For a leak while off from the pull-down sprayer, the RP73000 cartridge may need to be replaced, or sediment may be trapped in the faucet.
See here for instructions to flush the faucet and to replace the cartridge:
https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/What-do-I-do-if-my-single-handle-kitchen-faucet-drips-from-the-spout-outlet-DST-model
When the screw is loosened, the handle should slide off the cartridge stem. You can purchase Delta Faucet products from many local dealers and websites. I recommend our store locator.

Asked by: Kvac
Hello Kvac,
Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you!
Low flow on our Delta Faucet VAROS™ Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Soap Dispenser And ShieldSpray Technology MODEL#: 19792Z-SPSD-DST is normally caused by debris, we would recommend flushing the unit especially after install. To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Start with the easy stuff:
Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed.
If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.
Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.
If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet.
Next, check the supply lines for debris:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.
Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.
Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Please contact us back for any further questions.
Best Regards,
Nicole
