Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T BUY THIS Why does Costco sell faulty products? I've had this for 2 1/2 months. Hot water barely trickles. Manual that comes with the product as well as online from Delta is not for this faucet. It seems many people have the same problem but Costco keeps selling it. So $190 to install, no hot water, buy another faucet, $190 to uninstall and install, return to Costco. Don't expect help from Delta. Don't trust positive reviews, they are usually posted after instillation, not months later when the item fails. Out on a limb here trying to get help which Delta does not provide and looking at major expense to get problem solved.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from How would anyone know the specs of Varos faucets? The product itself, and Delta's website say nothing about the specs of the Varos faucet. The reach of the faucet, is not specified and one does not even know what kind of measurement is being taken (i.e. from where to where, or in what denominations, such as inches or centermeters) Poor back up both in box and on website that prevents accurate measurements to be taken.

Hi, How is this Varos model different from the Leland 9178-SP-DST model, in terms of internal mechanisms (valves, hoses, etc.)? Are they made of comparable materials (plastic vs. metal, etc.)?The response I got did not answer this materials question.

Asked by: Nancy
Hello Nancy, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Our Delta faucets are manufactured the same, the style and finish are the main differences. Our product is a mixture of metallic and non-metallic material, Quality is very important to us and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. I have a space constraint on the right hand side of the faucet.  Would I be able to use this faucet with the handle on the left?  If so, can the handle be adjusted to work normally from the left or must I accept the knob going behind the faucet?

Asked by: CNOInCT
Hello Anonymous, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Our Delta model 19792Z-SPSD-DST can be installed with the handle on the left side however you can not change the direction of the handle, so it would tilt back for hot. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance.  Best Regards,  Nicole

What metal is the body of this faucet made out? Stainless steel, brass, or zinc?

Asked by: sphan24
Hello, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Our Delta faucets are made of several materials and may depend on which model you have. We can't provide that level of detail every time and specific amounts are considered proprietary (trade secret). But in general, the faucet may contain: Bronze Brass (36000, 260) (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings) Zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle) Stainless Steel (undercover plate, seat liner, set screw) Copper (tubing) PEX-C (puck and tubing) Silicone (gaskets) Synthetic rubber - EDPM, Santoprene (hoses) Vinyl (hoses) Nylon Plastics Our SS- Stainless steel is a PVD finish, PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a process used to create a very durable, corrosion and tarnish-resistant finish. This process is commonly used for bathroom fixtures and entry hardware, which are exposed to frequent moisture and/or salt air. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Themar Digital Communications Specialist
