Handle does not stay on
After three years, the handle started falling off. We tightened it everyday until the part finally broke. We ordered a new handle. This one worked for about 10 months and now it will not longer stay on the faucet. It is very annoying to have the handle fall off every time we use the faucet.
Since we are the second owners of the house, there is no warranty.
I will never buy another Delta product again.

This faucet in the black finish was the perfect addition to the kitchen renovation. All appliances and hardware are also black and this faucet looks fabulous. The addition of the pull down faucet and spray settings are a bonus.

New Cartridge needed, what is part number? Where to find? For 19802z sp dst 2023 mfd date
The handle keeps coming off and now won't stay on at all. Purchased Oct 2024. What can be done to correct this problem?

A 1/8" hex or Allen key is used to tighten the screw that traps the handle between the cartridge stem and the screw flange. Leave a gap when tightening the screw to the stem, push the handle onto the stem, then finish tightening the screw. See here for more information:

Is the valve designed so that the vertical position of the handle is full coke and the fed 90degree position is full cold? This is different than the other kitchen faucets we have had.

Are there instructions to open the spray head and clean out the filter? ‘Water flow has decreased and this is my first thought.

The aerator in the spray head can be unscrewed and cleaned. A replacement aerator and wrench is RP90248. 50/50 white vinegar and water can be used by spraying, wiping, or soaking. Then rinse the finish.
Also, the spray head unscrews from the hose. The screen or the connection can be cleaned. Loop or secure the hose so it doesn't retract into the spout.

Is there a way to make the spout more sensitive? Wife wears gloves and try’s tapping the long upright piping with her arm but the success rate is about 30%.

What is the shield spray and what does it look like?

How does one clean the screen inside the nozzle head?

Do you have to hold down the button on faucet head while using the different water sprays or will it lock into position?

The switch between the aerated stream and the spray setting will stay in place without holding the button.
The third setting, ShieldSpray, is intended to be used while holding the spray head near the plate or dish, and the button would be held down for ShieldSpray.
