Rated 1 out of 5 by from Handle does not stay on After three years, the handle started falling off. We tightened it everyday until the part finally broke. We ordered a new handle. This one worked for about 10 months and now it will not longer stay on the faucet. It is very annoying to have the handle fall off every time we use the faucet. Since we are the second owners of the house, there is no warranty. I will never buy another Delta product again.

Asked by: Schi

Asked by: G Wool
Hi G Wool, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19802Z-DST. Our faucets have been redesigned so the stabilization plate is mostly unnecessary. But it may be needed for a thin gauge sink. It helps if the sink is thin enough to bend when the faucet is used. https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts/product/RP37490.html Please reach out with any additional questions! Is the valve designed so that the vertical position of the handle is full coke and the fed 90degree position is full cold?  This is different than the other kitchen faucets we have had.

Asked by: Chuck
Hi Chuck, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about 19802Z-DST! The Euro motion cartridge does have a different handle operation. The handle should be straight up when off, you would grab the handle and tilt out for on and cold, then pull towards you for hot. Are there instructions to open the spray head and clean out the filter? ‘Water flow has decreased and this is my first thought.

Asked by: Sconz
Hi Sconz, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet 19802Z-DST. Please accept our apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! The aerator in the spray head can be unscrewed and cleaned. A replacement aerator and wrench is RP90248. 50/50 white vinegar and water can be used by spraying, wiping, or soaking. Then rinse the finish. Also, the spray head unscrews from the hose. The screen or the connection can be cleaned. Loop or secure the hose so it doesn't retract into the spout. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan

Forced head doesn’t work properly stream very low

Asked by: Luda
Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. What is the best product to use to clean this faucet???  We live on Hilton Head, SC and the faucet is spotting.

Asked by: Bubbie 2252
Hi Bubbie 2252, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measures are needed, a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar (not apple cider or balsamic vinegar) and water could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward and wipe dry. If additional cleaning is required, use well-diluted dish soap as you would with your glassware. Additionally, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Bar Keepers Friend Foaming is an effective cleaner of mineral spots. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Kelley Digital Communications Specialist

Hi Larry, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19802Z-DST. The switch between the aerated stream and the spray setting will stay in place without holding the button. The third setting, ShieldSpray, is intended to be used while holding the spray head near the plate or dish, and the button would be held down for ShieldSpray.
