Beautiful faucet, but I have my regrets.
Beautiful faucet. That’s why I bought it. However, I’ve never had a pull down faucet with spray button that doesn’t default back to normal stream when you turn the water off. I can never remember to check the button first, so constantly have water ricocheting off the sink all over me and the counter. It’s so annoying!

Faulty&Loud Noise
Much like other reviewers the same thing has happened to us. After two years of use the spray head gets stuck between both settings and makes an extremely awful loud noise! I am highly disappointed especially considering how much we paid for this facet.

Our warranty is, All parts (other than electronic parts and batteries) and finishes of Delta® faucets purchased from authorized Delta sellers are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home in which the faucet was first installed. We have only had this faucet in our brand new construction home for a year before the sprayer started to go bad. The black plastic toggle on the sprayer will not stay in either position and it wants to revert to the middle and make a loud noise.

I need to change the valve cartridge, could you please walk me through the process to remove the old cartridge and replace it with a new one?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19824LF-SP.
With the water supplies off, loosen the set screw inside the handle with a 3/32" Allen wrench. Remove handle. Remove the cap by rotating counterclockwise; it should rotate by hand. Remove the bonnet nut by rotating counterclockwise with a wrench. Remove the cartridge by pulling directly back on the stem. Replace the cartridge and reassemble.

How do I clean the filter on this faucet? The flow of water was greatly reduced after the county did work on the water lines. I'm assuming that debris is clogging the opening.

Some Delta Faucet model descriptions indicate that the faucet workings last 2 times as long as the standard faucet. Does this model also last twice as long?
