Rated 1 out of 5 by from Maybe I got a lemon? My experience with this faucet since installing 4 months ago has been really bad. The faucet seems to go through batteries like crazy, the sink randomly won't turn on, or turns off in the middle of filling a pot of water, and the water pressure is 1/2 of what it used to be with my old Delta faucet. I suspect the last bit may be due to smaller lines leading to the sink, but overall it just adds to the frustration that I've had since this piece of junk was installed.

Fix low flow

Asked by: Kitchen
Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Please contact us back if you have any questions or need further assistance. I believe either my battery pack or the control unit are dead. How do I order a new one? In the meantime, how to a make it manual for turning the water on and off?

Asked by: Kristy
Thank you for your question. The faucet can be bypassed for the faucet to work manually. First, turn the handle in the off position. Remove the blue clips on the top and bottom of the solenoid assembly. Once the clips are removed, remove the hose connections from each top and bottom of the solenoid and connect these two hose connections together. Secure this connection with one of the blue clips. Remove the solenoid, battery pack, and all wiring entirely. The handle can be turned on and off for the faucet to work manually. Best Regards, Themar

when I was trying to clean the sprayer filter, I disconnected the sprayer it from the faucet. The male part in the end of the faucet where the sprayer snaps into disappeared inside the round top tube part of the faucet. How do I get it out?

can this faucet be installed with the control handle on the left side?

Asked by: jjmcf
Hi jjmcf, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 19826TLZ-SPSD-DST. The faucet could be installed with the handle on the left, but the handle would operate by pushing back instead of pulling forward. And the indicator light at the bottom of the faucet would be on the back. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan
