Rated 3 out of 5 by from Products Better Than Customer Service your products are better than your customer service. I wrote to find out how to disconnect the spray hose for my product/model from under the sink and instead and I all I got was an email asking me a million questions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not user friendly!! This is the first Delta faucet I am very disappointed & unhappy with. It is a nice design & looks great but, there are several things that are not user friendly about it. First of all the handle is made where it needs to be pushed back to the center in order to fully turn off. If not the water will continue to drip. The handle also is a little stiff, it takes a little more effort to turn on and off. My prior faucet turned on & off very easily with no effort to maneuver it back & forth. Another problem I find, is that the 'weight' is like no weight at all. It is just a plastic ring that slides up & down the hose. My prior faucet's weight was adjustable. I was able to position & secure it to the hose. It also was metal & heavy. It weighed enough to pull the hose & sprayer back to the faucet. With this Delta one, I have to literally push the hose back into the faucet. I do not like this faucet at all and wish I bought a different one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from doesn't shut off easily Very hard to always shut it off. This has been since initial installation which was done by a professional plumber. Have had it a couple years now and it still is totally frustrating. So many times it drips or is on unless you really pay attention and make sure it is shut off in just the right way. Very very disappointed and now looking for a new faucet that works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought it again after 10-yrs in hard water. great! I installed this faucet about 10 years ago. We have extremely hard water and the water caused most of the problems with this faucet. Yesterday I purchased the same model and installed it. Works great. Sprayer is a bit different than the old one. Too bad this model is discontinued, maybe it will still be available at Lowes. Seems like a lot of the bad reviews are due to operator error, with some folks not knowing what they are doing or failing to read the instructions. Since this is my second purchase I must have been happy. Purchased at Lowes 6/14/2025.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice finish The finish is nice, the soap pump is really bad, have changed it 3 times in a few years, the head is difficult to clean with hard water. A larger aerator would be an improvement, the power stream works well and it's a good idea, the spray (shower) is spread too wide and doesn't cover the center so you're moving it back and forth to cover the center. The soap pump is the most irritating part of the whole thing. The customer service is good if the control valve leaks, I had to replace mine and customer service was very helpful. If I had 3 or 4 soap pump cartridges (not the tube and not the bottle) I would be much happier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spray Head Detached We purchased the Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST for our newly renovated kitchen and within 4 months of use, the spray head detached from the supply line. I have tried numerous times to reattach the spray head to the supply line, but the connection appears to be compromised. I sent an e-mail to customerservice@deltafaucet.com and received an automated message to wait 24-48 hours for a response. The replacement line and head is $103.88.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from We really wanted to love this faucet We purchased this faucet after upgrading all of our appliances to black stainless and were pretty excited to get this installed. However once installed we noticed that the pulldown spray head did not match the body of the faucet, so we placed a call to Delta and the customer service lady was awesome and rushed a new spray head out to us and it too did not match (Very strange for Delta) So we are now searching for another faucet and out of the money for this one.. Very sad and in this case expensive trying to chase a look!

Looking for a soap dispenser to match #19922Z-SSSD-DST Pull down Faucet

Asked by: Don Walker
Thank you for your question! Model 19922Z-SSSD-DST, already includes a soap dispenser. The part number for that soap dispenser is RP50781SS. I have included a link to the soap dispenser's web page, for you to refer to. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/RP50781SS Best Regards, Benjamin

We just purchased and installed the 19922Z-SSSD-DST and are having a problem with the shield feature. It splatters on sink / counter top and spreads some while closing in about 5 or 7 inches down. The regular stream and shower seem OK.

Asked by: Phillip
Thank you for your question, Phillip! When using the ShieldSpray feature, please be sure to pull down the wand and place the dish in the center of the bubble area. This should reduce splashing by an average of 90% when compared to a standard spray setting. We recommend using the standard spray setting when the wand is docked. For more information, please visit the link below. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/shieldspray The ShieldSpray feature may be affected by debris in the wand, which can reduce the flow rate. For optimal performance, we recommend that the water pressure is above 35 psi. The Shield Spray feature will look tattered outside of 35-80 psi. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance. Best Regards, Benjamin

How do I use faucet adapters with this? For example, if I want to connect a garden hose to it?

Asked by: Optimus Prime
Hi, Optimus! Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to install a garden hose to the sprayer of the Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST Faucet as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing. Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a long hose in my drop down kitchen faucet because I have a very large deep sink. I like contemporary styling. I like the Ahston 19922z sssd-dst, but I fear the hose is too short. What models are best.

Asked by: Jody67
Hello Jody67, Thank you for your question. The Delta Ashton ShieldSpray Pull-Down Kitchen 19922Z-SSSD-DST comes with a 62" pull-out hose assembly. This is the longest hose assembly that we manufacture for our pull-out/down faucets. Best regards, Tanya

I just purchased Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST with Brilliance Stainless finish. I would like to purchase an additional soap dispenser but not sure if I should order the "spotshield stainless" or "stainless" finish to match my faucet?

Asked by: Sharon
Thank you for your question, Sharon! Stainless Steel and SpotShield Stainless are identical in appearance; however, the RP50781 soap dispenser is available in both options. We recommend SpotShield if the dispenser will be used often, to ensure a longer lasting finish that both resists fingerprints and spotting. Best regards, Edward

Had my stainless finish 199222-SSSD-DST for 1 wk and am disappointed that the escutcheon plate and soap dispenser water spots badly. Is there a polish or wax that can be applied to make water bead off them and is safe for this finish?

Asked by: Sad in Chilli
Hello Sad in Chilli, Thank you for your question. Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners. Best regards, Tanya
