Faucet is okay - but shut off is not very good
We like the faucet and features. As others have said, it is difficult to find the perfect "off" position. I find it dripping or streaming once in a while and have to wiggle the handle to the perfect "off" position to turn it off. Our handle is also now making a "groaning" sound (hard to describe) when moved quickly. It is less than a year old. I hope the valve can last longer and this isn't a sign of needing replacement soon.

Great faucet BUT
Seems like it's well built and nice quality. The directions are VERY generic and never even mentioned the sliding weight for spray nozzle retraction. If you're not mechanically inclined could have issues. Also no mention of the size of the water supply fittings. So 35 miles one way for an adapter to make it work. Nice faucet though.

Great faucet except for one design flaw
We have had this faucet for a couple years. Maybe even six years. We really enjoy it. It reliably turns off and on. No leaks! No drips! We like the height of the faucet over the sink. Pulling the faucet to use as a sprayer is awesome. It retracts easily also. The only reason not to give it 5 stars is the screen inside the sprayer head. We are on a well and occasionally sediment will block the screen. Most of the time I have been able to pull it out and rinse it off to clean it but I have also had to set the s teen in hydrogen peroxide to get accumulated rust off it. This part is not available for purchase. After time if I don’t clean it, water trickles out of the faucet. FYI- I am not referring to the cartridge that is aerating the water as it leaves the faucet.
Being able to replace that screen would get you 5 stars!!

Nice faucet, terrible instructions
I just purchased this model faucet with the soap dispenser. It is a nice faucet but the directions are very generic and are missing some steps. For instance there is no mention of what the weight is or what it is for. There are extra pieces for the spray attachment which is not for this model. The installation requires a second person to hold the faucet in place properly oriented while the nut is tightened. If not the faucet will not line up with the locating notch.

Good Product
Terrible job on the instructions. I live in the USA where this is sold. I don't need tiny print so you can squeeze in two other languages that I can't read. Also, two items I feel need mentioning. First, the is a part on the cold water line that is marked "cut to remove". Why is it needed? Second, there was included what appears to be some kind of wrench. I can find no reference to it in your instructions, which leads me to the question, "why is it here?"

Could be much better with a few Improvements.
I love the style, reach, color and finish of this faucet. But the gasket where the faucet meets the counter is cheap and didn't fit well at all, the rigid supply lines were unnecessarily difficult to deal with, and the installation instructions were much too universal and hard to follow. With a proper fitting rubber gasket, braided supply lines, and more comprehensive and product specific instructions, this could be great product.

We just purchased and installed the 19922Z-SSSD-DST and are having a problem with the shield feature. It splatters on sink / counter top and spreads some while closing in about 5 or 7 inches down. The regular stream and shower seem OK.
Thank you for your question, Phillip! When using the ShieldSpray feature, please be sure to pull down the wand and place the dish in the center of the bubble area. This should reduce splashing by an average of 90% when compared to a standard spray setting. We recommend using the standard spray setting when the wand is docked. The ShieldSpray feature may be affected by debris in the wand, which can reduce the flow rate. For optimal performance, we recommend that the water pressure is above 35 psi. I need a long hose in my drop down kitchen faucet because I have a very large deep sink. I like contemporary styling. I like the Ahston 19922z sssd-dst, but I fear the hose is too short. What models are best.

I just purchased Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST with Brilliance Stainless finish. I would like to purchase an additional soap dispenser but not sure if I should order the "spotshield stainless" or "stainless" finish to match my faucet?
Thank you for your question, Sharon! Stainless Steel and SpotShield Stainless are identical in appearance; however, the RP50781 soap dispenser is available in both options. We recommend SpotShield if the dispenser will be used often, to ensure a longer lasting finish that both resists fingerprints and spotting.

Had my stainless finish 199222-SSSD-DST for 1 wk and am disappointed that the escutcheon plate and soap dispenser water spots badly. Is there a polish or wax that can be applied to make water bead off them and is safe for this finish?

Thank you for your question. Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward.
Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners.
