Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works and looks good Happy about how it works. But only problem is that the faucet cannot be tightened to stay without movement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great faucet, but...... Really like this faucet. The "hands free" touch technology is great!. The only issue... The battery pack is poorly designed. The two tabs that are to retain the cap do not have enough power to overcome the force applied by the springs supporting the battery. In the 10 days we have had this faucet, twice we have discovered the batteries expelled from the holder. Ended up wrapping the holder with black electrical tape. Other than that, it is a well designed piece of equipment

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Investment I replaced an old faucet with this one and my family loves it. It combined 3 separate (sprayer, faucet head, on/off) into 1 easy to use faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the shieldspray! We bought this faucet when our old one broke. What an upgrade! Love all the different functions, shieldspray, stream and spray.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would have been a five but... Beautiful faucet, simple to install. Perfect height and angle, and Magtite is the best. Big problem is the head design. Insufficient aeration of the main stream and poor design of the sprayer pattern just makes a big mess when rinsing. If I did not have a deep sink I would have returned the unit. An the Spray shield is a joke, way under powered, the tiny stream can't do a thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Design. Sleek. Very easy to use. I bought this about a month ago and am so happy I did.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had install problem The stiff inlet hoses made it difficult to hook up to water valves, had to change orientation of valve. The extensions on the hold down plate interfered with the lip on my undercounter mounted sink, had to shorten one leg. Stiff hoses made threading hold down nut difficult. Position of non scald switch is in incorrect position in instructions. Hot and Cold indication is reverse from the standard left hot, right cold. Stream does not default to full stream when faucet is turned off. I found installation to be very difficult. Flexible hoses and a more compact hold down plate and proper instructions on scald switch would help a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Kitchen Faucet Upgraded our Kitchen counter top to Quartz, topped it off with a new Delta Faucet, model 19922z-SSSD-DST. This is really a nice looking faucet with many upgraded features and a great price point. I have been purchasing Delta Faucets for over 40 years. Delta is number One in my book !! I recommend Delta always to my family and friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NICE & NEW I like the look of the faucet and it's ease of operation however the neck is too high for my sink even though my sink is not that shallow. I make such a splash that I just wish it was a little lower to the sink. :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Features are great I like the features. My only concern is that we need to unscrew the head of the faucet to clean the filter frequently. Our water system obviously needs an update, but until this happens we pray we don't loose the recoiling cord into the faucet with no way to retrieve it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaking! Our faucet is just over 2 years old and it already needs to be replaced. It’s takes way too much work to find the “sweet spot” to get it to stop dripping. My husband has taken it apart and attempted to fix it once but it only helped for a week or so. Everyone that comes to our house and uses the kitchen sink comments on how it is broken. Not what we would expect for the price we paid. Very disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It is ok This item is ok. I bought this on clearance. to replace my other one. It is ok. For the price of this one I would have expected a better item. It leaks from the nozzle when you turn it on full. I have tried everything to make this better but no luck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Quality This is not my first Delta faucet. I had one in the previous home I owned. When I got to my new home I picked up this unit and installed it. What a difference. We really like the three functions spray settings.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great except for smudges Love everything except how easy it is to get covered in smudges and difficult to clean. I absolutely love the spray shield.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's an ok faucet I've had this faucet for a little over a year, I like it overall. One issue that I have is the power spray feature with the shield, when I first used it, the button wouldn't stay pushed in without holding it. I liked that, now it sticks and I have to switch from stream to spray to get the power wash to turn off. I've tried soaking the head in vinegar, thinking maybe there was a buildup from hard water, but that didn't fix the issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s fine It is an ok faucet. If I could I would go back and buy the no fingerprint material and the magnetic closure. I would absolutely invest in those two things rather than buy this faucet again. It functions fine and it doesn’t splash. It’s just ok. Looks nice in person aside from the fingerprints.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality I have been using the faucet for about a month. It is a big improvement over the one I replaced that was 14 or so years old. At low pressures, it is a bit noisy, but not objectionable. I have not had much occasion to use the new "spray in a bubble" feature, but I guess it is something that is worthwhile. I am a bit disappointed that to get this new feature you have to give up the center sprays when using the "normal" sprayer. It seems to miss a lot in the center area of smaller items and needs some getting used to. The magnetic latch system for the head unit is nothing short of amazing. Great piece of engineering!!

Q&A

Looking for a soap dispenser to match #19922Z-SSSD-DST Pull down Faucet

Asked by: Don Walker
Thank you for your question! Model 19922Z-SSSD-DST, already includes a soap dispenser. The part number for that soap dispenser is RP50781SS. I have included a link to the soap dispenser's web page, for you to refer to. https://www.deltafaucet.com/kitchen/product/RP50781SS Best Regards, Benjamin

We just purchased and installed the 19922Z-SSSD-DST and are having a problem with the shield feature. It splatters on sink / counter top and spreads some while closing in about 5 or 7 inches down. The regular stream and shower seem OK.

Asked by: Phillip
Thank you for your question, Phillip! When using the ShieldSpray feature, please be sure to pull down the wand and place the dish in the center of the bubble area. This should reduce splashing by an average of 90% when compared to a standard spray setting. We recommend using the standard spray setting when the wand is docked. For more information, please visit the link below. https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/shieldspray The ShieldSpray feature may be affected by debris in the wand, which can reduce the flow rate. For optimal performance, we recommend that the water pressure is above 35 psi. The Shield Spray feature will look tattered outside of 35-80 psi. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance. Best Regards, Benjamin

How do I use faucet adapters with this? For example, if I want to connect a garden hose to it?

Asked by: Optimus Prime
Hi, Optimus! Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to install a garden hose to the sprayer of the Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST Faucet as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing. Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a long hose in my drop down kitchen faucet because I have a very large deep sink. I like contemporary styling. I like the Ahston 19922z sssd-dst, but I fear the hose is too short. What models are best.

Asked by: Jody67
Hello Jody67, Thank you for your question. The Delta Ashton ShieldSpray Pull-Down Kitchen 19922Z-SSSD-DST comes with a 62" pull-out hose assembly. This is the longest hose assembly that we manufacture for our pull-out/down faucets. Best regards, Tanya

I just purchased Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST with Brilliance Stainless finish. I would like to purchase an additional soap dispenser but not sure if I should order the "spotshield stainless" or "stainless" finish to match my faucet?

Asked by: Sharon
Thank you for your question, Sharon! Stainless Steel and SpotShield Stainless are identical in appearance; however, the RP50781 soap dispenser is available in both options. We recommend SpotShield if the dispenser will be used often, to ensure a longer lasting finish that both resists fingerprints and spotting. Best regards, Edward

Had my stainless finish 199222-SSSD-DST for 1 wk and am disappointed that the escutcheon plate and soap dispenser water spots badly. Is there a polish or wax that can be applied to make water bead off them and is safe for this finish?

Asked by: Sad in Chilli
Hello Sad in Chilli, Thank you for your question. Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners. Best regards, Tanya
