Slow Drip
There is a very narrow "sweet spot" for shutting the water off - otherwise you get a slow drip. The problem has got worse over time.

happy for a new faucet from
nice looking
I like the faucet a lot. It looks nice. Tall so that I can rinse large pots and pans easily. The lonely thing that I don't like is that when I turn the water off I have to have it exactly in the right spot for the water to turn off. Not use to it but I will learn.

It is easy to use and install.
I bought this a week ago to replace a standard rise faucet that would not swivel properly. This one moves with a light touch and is high enough to clear large pots. It also has a plate sprayer that does not splash all over the place.

I recommend this faucet
We bought this faucet to replace another Delta model that we have had for about 10 years. The features on this model are similar to the one we had, but after all of that time, the other was beginning to look rough. Though the features are similar, this is a far superior model and the design of the three different spray head nozzles seems to make the water pressure much higher. Additionally, the magnet that secures the spray head is much better than the O-rings in the old model. Installation was very simple...if you do what the directions say and the included wrench for the main bolt was an excellent tool.

A really nice faucet.
This faucet is great. Looks good. The magnet feature works perfectly every time. The sprayer cord is quite long. Matches well with a stainless steel sink. As good or better than faucets 2 times the price. I would buy again in a heartbeat if I had another sink.

Good looking faucet.
The only negative so far: The base is secured to the sink by a under sink nut that is hand tighten by a supplied tool. The nut tend to loosen and faucet is not longer secured to the sink.

Simple and elegant
I bought this as part of my kitchen facelift (cointerns and undermount sink) and wanted something that was clean lined and simple. It was an easy install & I love the spray shield feature! No leaks, the spray nozzle fits perfectly back into its place, and the varying sprays are great. I trust Delta faucets and wouldn’t get anything else.

GREAT FAUCET IF IT HOLDS UP!
We love this faucet & all of its features. It is great! The reason I gave if 4 stars is it really is cheaply made for such a huge price of $189.00. I think it is 90% plastic. I guess time will tell how long it will last. Maybe I am wrong.

Kitchen sink faucet
Installation was fairly easy, but the flow was limited, after two days had no water flow at all. Googled the problem, found that a small screen was placed and it collected plastic pieces, took out the screen and the water flow is fantastic. I see no need for the time screen.

Good faucet
We have had this installed for a couple of weeks now and have been happy with it. Please keep in mind that if you are replacing a faucet that sat down lower and closer to the sink (like we did) that this will have a little more splatter simply because the water is dropping from a higher position. In our case this was the trade off because we needed a high arc for when we wash bigger pans and kettles.

Q&A
Looking for a soap dispenser to match #19922Z-SSSD-DST Pull down Faucet
Thank you for your question! Model 19922Z-SSSD-DST, already includes a soap dispenser. The part number for that soap dispenser is RP50781SS. I have included a link to the soap dispenser's web page, for you to refer to.

We just purchased and installed the 19922Z-SSSD-DST and are having a problem with the shield feature. It splatters on sink / counter top and spreads some while closing in about 5 or 7 inches down. The regular stream and shower seem OK.
Thank you for your question, Phillip! When using the ShieldSpray feature, please be sure to pull down the wand and place the dish in the center of the bubble area. This should reduce splashing by an average of 90% when compared to a standard spray setting. We recommend using the standard spray setting when the wand is docked. For more information, please visit the link below.
https://www.deltafaucet.com/design-innovation/innovations/kitchen/shieldspray
The ShieldSpray feature may be affected by debris in the wand, which can reduce the flow rate. For optimal performance, we recommend that the water pressure is above 35 psi. The Shield Spray feature will look tattered outside of 35-80 psi. Feel free to contact us directly, if you need further assistance.
Best Regards, Benjamin

How do I use faucet adapters with this? For example, if I want to connect a garden hose to it?
Hi, Optimus!
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to install a garden hose to the sprayer of the Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST Faucet as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing.
Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a long hose in my drop down kitchen faucet because I have a very large deep sink. I like contemporary styling. I like the Ahston 19922z sssd-dst, but I fear the hose is too short. What models are best.
Hello Jody67,
Thank you for your question. The Delta Ashton ShieldSpray Pull-Down Kitchen 19922Z-SSSD-DST comes with a 62" pull-out hose assembly. This is the longest hose assembly that we manufacture for our pull-out/down faucets.
Best regards,
Tanya

Thank you for your inquiry, Condor! The soap dispenser that come with the Delta Ashton ShieldSpray Kitchen Pull-Down Touch2O 19922TZ-SSSD-DST faucet, requires a 1 3/8"
(35 mm) hole size for installation.

I just purchased Delta 19922Z-SSSD-DST with Brilliance Stainless finish. I would like to purchase an additional soap dispenser but not sure if I should order the "spotshield stainless" or "stainless" finish to match my faucet?
Thank you for your question, Sharon! Stainless Steel and SpotShield Stainless are identical in appearance; however, the RP50781 soap dispenser is available in both options. We recommend SpotShield if the dispenser will be used often, to ensure a longer lasting finish that both resists fingerprints and spotting.
Best regards, Edward

Had my stainless finish 199222-SSSD-DST for 1 wk and am disappointed that the escutcheon plate and soap dispenser water spots badly. Is there a polish or wax that can be applied to make water bead off them and is safe for this finish?
Hello Sad in Chilli,
Thank you for your question. Always blot dry any water from faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse thoroughly with water afterward.
Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner. Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes Avoid bleach-based cleaners.
Best regards,
Tanya
