Great faucet, easy install, terrible instructions
I just installed this faucet. It looks great and works well too. My wife picked it out and really likes it so far. Now that it's installed, I'm very happy with it.
I'm pretty capable at DIY stuff much more difficult than this. The installation shouldn't have been hard, but the instructions were confusing and at times misleading. The were written very genetically, in order to cover a lot of models. Unfortunately, this model wasn't really one of them.
The main issue was that the hot and cold lines go into the faucet and there is a third hose that comes down from the faucet. All of the instructions show this being connected to an optional hand sprayer, that wasn't part of this model. You were supposed to connect that to a small outlet port on the bottom of the faucet.
There were no instructions that indicated any connection was necessary if you didn't have the sprayer. I got everything connected, turned on the faucet, and had water pouring out under my sink. In the dark, it took a bit to realize the port that connected to the sprayer (according to my instructions) was the source of the water.
I figured there was supposed to be cap to seal it. Couldn't find anything like that. I finally came to this website to get the instructions and it was a revised manual that included the step for connecting that to the main hose for faucets without the side sprayer.
There were other issues with both manuals, neither really did a great job showing how to seat the faucet. The were lots of pictures of trim rings, seats, and base plates. None off these were used in my faucet, just one white foam adhesive gasket.
I'm ok with manuals that cover multiple items. At least the English versions of the instructions appeared to be written by someone who knew English. But beyond that, this was very frustrating. Delta owes me two hours of my life back.
I'll finish by saying that now that it's installed, I'm very happy with it. It seems very solid and will made. The handle control movement is smooth and comfortable. I expect it will work well and last a long time. The water pressure is mediocre, but that has more to do with regulations than with this faucet. The last one we had was no better.
It should have taken 30 minutes. It took 3 hours.

Just Awesome!
I have had this installed for about a month now and absolutely love it. So easy to use even when my hands are full. I have a deep sink so it is great that I can bring the head of the faucet down into the sink.

I love this faucet
I purchased this exact faucet for my previous home and when we built our new home I knew that I had to have the same faucet. We love the 3 different sprays, the lines and shape of it and the spot free stainless steel finish. I did have a small issue wth the sprayer head but Delta was very easy to deal with for the warranty and they sent me a replacement sprayer.

I am not impressed with the faucet. It looks nice but the spray isn't strong like I had hoped.probably because the shield spray takes away some of the spray holes. I thought is would lift up on it own but I have to push it up. The shield spray isn't very powerful because the water pressure is just ok. I have had the plumber out twice and he said its all because of the flow restrictor. I should have just gone with a basic model. I would love to switch out the head and get one. with just a solid spray.

Like the results of the faucet once installed, but getting there was a bit of a hassle. Need to add an additional fastening option to the install package. The fastening ring with the screws on the sides as to big to fit between the granite counter top and hole in the sink, where a regular sided nut would have worked fine. Could not find a nut to fit the faucets at any hardware store. But figured out a way to make it work. At least note on box for under counter top sinks only.

I installed this Delta Valdosta faucet a couple of weeks ago using simple tools and very little time. We Love the look and features of this faucet.
Delta fixtures have been a part of our life for decades, in our personal residences and our rental properties. Parts are easily accessible and support is super. We will continue to use Delta products.

Build quality seems fantastic. Love the magnetic feature with the pullout. Only problem was on installation. I have installed several faucets in my day and the instructions in the box were horrific! Not only was the print so small no inventory of parts (or description of them) which made it quite confusing when it comes to bolting down the faucet. Photo in instructions was not close to the part provided. Fortunately someone with the exact model posted a video on YouTube and it was clear sailing from there. Would definitely recommend this product but Delta needs to up their game on instructions.

Big Improvement
I bought this model to upgrade the functional, but cheap builder unit that had the spray coming out of counter top. Love the functionality, style and quality. Put in a garbage disposal button on top of counter where the spray was. It’s all working great together.

Classic design.
Love the design, hated the spray functions. The ShieldSpray function did not work even close to the online demo and was not usable (and it's momentary - can't be locked-on). And I disliked the parallel spray streams. Kudos to Delta's great customer service in resolving the issue (Thanks Donna!). Install was simple, clear directions, sleek design goes excellent with my Shaker cabinets, and the soap dispenser works good. I suggest watching the demo videos before buying - and ensure you have a minimum 50psi water pressure. Overall a great value due to Delta's dedicated customer service reps.

A Good Kitchen Faucet
Bought and installed a Valdosta (MDL NO: 19957Z-SPSD-DST) in December, 2017, and only have one complaint, which I learned after the purchase...it doesn't do as well with the included escutcheon as it does without (i.e., mounted to a rock counter top where the escutcheon is not required). I just have to tighten it up from underneath every 6-8 months; otherwise, it's a good faucet which works as advertised.

Purchased this faucet (Valdosta w/Spray Shield) in the beginning of May. It was a tough choice between this model & the Allentown LED. Ultimately, I chose the Valdosta because of the spray shield feature (thinking it would be practical, however it wasn't). The shield isn't really that great at shielding the water from spraying back at me. If anything, it's actually aiding the water in spraying on my clothes more than my last sprayer. Also, the spray holes are not in a circle (even though the button for it & video shows that it's circular, it's two separate lines in a row which makes it awkward to rinse with. I'm so very disappointed with this purchase & can't return because I threw the box out. This was my very first diy project in my first home & was so excited/happy about it once I installed it. But now after using it for almost a month, I regret not picking the Allentown LED, because at least with that one my 3yo would have loved the lights. :'-(

Looks good and works great
This kitchen faucet replaced original 2008 faucet that was hardly working. I waited a while to post a review to see how it looked and performed after 6 months or more. I am very pleased with both. We had a plumber install it and it was an easy job for him. My husband said he could have done it if he’d had the right tool.

Hi and Happy Near! My wife and I have what we believe to be a Delata “Valdosta” kitchen faucet and we absolutely LOVE it! The only problem is I cant locate the tool I need to tighten the set screw in the handle. What do I need and can you supply it?

Once the spray is selected does it only turn off at the handle, or can I switch between spray and full water stream with the button on the pull out? Also, is the pull out metal or plastic? Thanks.

Thank you for your question. The wand will remain on either spray or stream when you turn it back on depending on which mode was in use when you turned the faucet off. However, you would need to hold the ShieldSpray button for this feature. The sprayer/wand assembly of the Delta Valdosta Pull-Down Kitchen 19957Z-CZSD-DST faucet is non-metallic.

Where can I buy this faucet? It says sold at Lowes but Lowes website states no longer available. Same for the Home Depot exclusive faucet. Please advise as the 2 styles are what I am looking for in my kitchen in the champagne bronze.

We live in an area where calcium crystals builds up in the spray area. Can the the sprayer be taken apart to clean out these crystals?
Hello, Tom! Thank you for your question. The aerator can be removed for cleaning, and the Touch-Clean spray holes can be cleaned with a wipe of your finger. You can also remove the wand assembly from the hose to check for debris or to soak the wand in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution.

Can I get a kitchen faucet with high arc gooseneck spout that isn't 360° design, I would like it to have stops on the swivel?

I was told plumbing supply stores carry the same models as Lowes, but the the insides are made with higher quality parts (metal vs. plastic). That's why Lowes can sell for cheaper. is this correct?
