Bought a cheap faucet about 2 weeks ago. Yea I know. You get what you pay for.
But this faucet was not much more than the cheap faucet I bought.Should have went with this one first. Didn't care for the Crooked neck, but turns out I love it.

Sprayer leaks
I was talked into the Delta 21988LF and paid the extra money for it. It was easy to install and looked great. It worked great until after 9 months. Then the sprayer would not stop leaking from the on/off button. I wrote to customer service and hope to get it replaced very soon.

We bought this faucet 2 weeks ago to replace a faulty Peerless faucet.
Beautiful faucet love the high faucet neck on it.makes washing deep pans so easy even without needing to use spray nozzle.
The spray nozzle it self also very nice.
Is easy to install this faucet.

Well, it's my third of this style,but....

Just what I wanted
This faucet was bought to replace an old leaky model of another brand. I like the high arc of the spout and the lever handles. It is easy to turn on and off. The spout swivels smoothly and the sprayer works great. This is an easy to install unit.

Wonderful replacement
How privileged we feel to finally have a faucet that was so easy & fast to install into our kitchen sink in our home. It was unbelievably easy & such an improvement over the replacement faucet we had been using since 2002. We had gotten so used to the idiosyncrasies of the old one that we didn't realize how nicely a faucet can operate & add beauty to a kitchen. We love it!

I purchased the Model 21988LF over a month ago and replaced a NON Delta faucet that was on a deep sink in the utility room. It was a washer type and over thirty-three years old. I replaced many washers during those thirty-three years and one valve seat. The cold water supply to the old faucet broke one day and WHEN DID IT? You guessed it, when I wasn't home. Water was everywhere when I returned. I recently read the one and two star reviews about the flimsiness of the 21988LF faucet handles. People stated that they flex when turned off. Folks these are washer-less faucets and are made to be turned off and on with one or two fingers. Yes during the "good ole days" the washer type faucets offered more resistance to movement and at times you really had to crank down on them to stop a drip. When that happened it was time to replace the washer but most people didn't and continued to apply more twisting force to obtain a complete drip stop. As I stated earlier, washer-less faucets are manufactured to be turned on and off with very little resistance so all the extra seals, brass and steel aren't necessary to make a good product. All of the remaining faucets in my house are washer-less. All but three are Delta and that is another story as to why they are another brand. I have replaced washer-less components in the three that aren't Delta five times since they were installed. In over thirty-three years not one of the Delta faucets has ever leaked. If one of the Delta faucets starts leaking I know I will be able to purchase a replacement part instead of a new faucet. Over forty-five years ago a plumber told me to by only Delta and if something malfunctioned I would either be able to find a part to fix the problem or Delta would replace it. So far not one Delta faucet is dripping or spewing.

I bought this a couple of years ago, and the sprayer started leaking almost immediately. Delta replaced it, without question, even more than a year later. The service was great and the replacement arrived within days. The new sprayer, so far, works great, with no leaks. This set looks great. I just wanted something different than chrome.

Sprayer started leaking after 3 days
Sprayer started leaking after using cold water through the spout. Spout also seems rather loose where it threads into the base. Faucet is also very light weight and I'm not sure how long it will last.

Nice replacement faucet...but
Bought this faucet to replace one that when turned on, sprayed in the air like a geyser! Install on this one was easy for a do it yourself person, women included! 2 years later, sprayer is spraying water and leaking heavy when I turn on the hot or cold water. Other than that, the faucet works fine. Need a replacement sprayer asap!!

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Foundations Kitchen faucet 21988LF-OB can be installed without the side vegetable sprayer. However, you would need to purchase the RP60295, to cap off the nipple below the faucet.

Can I hook up a portable dishwasher to this faucet?

Howdy, Are the spout, handles, & base of this faucet made of brass, or is the finish applied to a different base metal? I've read that the sprayer is plastic, but is the rest of the faucet all metal? Much obliged, Matt

The specs on model 21988lf faucet state 1/2" line from the wall to the facet. Does that get reduced before the water comes out the spout? I have a gravity feed water system with lower water pressure than typical city water systems.NEED 1/2"
Thank you for your question, john! Model 21988lf uses 1/2" IPS connections. There may be a slight reduction on the inlet nipple; however, this model is designed to produce 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi or 6.8 L/min @ 414 kPa. If you are not getting this flow rate, there will be a decreased flow regardless.
