We installed this faucet a couple of weeks ago and have been very pleased. Easy to install, no leaks, plenty of pressure. The sprayer is so much better than the last one I had. We had a Moen for many years but the sprayer was never very good. I would definitely recommend this faucet.

Terrible water pressure
My contractor bought this faucet. It made the water pressure go way down and now after only 3 months it is down to nothing. I had a plumber come out and nothing was wrong with the line it was just the faucet. For a new faucet this is disgraceful!

Delta Foundation two handle Kitchen Faucet
Looks nice on out stainless sink. The only negative is the low flow water and hot water. Have to let the water run a long time before the water is hot. My old faucet did not have a water limiter and it did not take long for the hot water to reach the sink.

The other day, I was under my sink to get a cleaning bottle out and found my sink was leaking.
New sink, new faucet.
Went to the two handle with sprayer. Looked nice and works great, not to mention easy to install.

With Deltas long history of superior products and reliability wouldn’t purchase anything else. Specifically on the kitchen faucet i purchased it has a clean and sleek look as well as smooth action on the way the handles operate. Cant go wrong with purchasing any and all types of delta products.

Love the style of this faucet!
So pleased with the feel and look of this Delta faucet. The handles turn easily and feel very stable on the base (not true with other brands I have bought). Love the faucet, love the price, love the quality but most of all I commend Delta for their excellent customer service. Having contacted them with a minor issue I found they responded within 24 hours and did quality follow-up to resolve my issue. Delta truly stands behind their products with pride and the customer service to prove they care about both product and customer.

Already failing after three weeks...
We had two of these faucets professionally installed about three weeks ago and the stainless one in the kitchen is already failing. The faucet is sticking and difficult to rotate, the handles flex like cheap plastic, and the hot handle squeaks and doesn't move easily. Very disappointing.

The faucet was easy to install and it is a nice looking updated kitchen faucet. The only thing I am concerned about is the faucet handles which seem to flex when you turn them on and off.(they are not sturdy)

Looks good
My only complaint is the faucet itself. I like the higher faucet but I don't like the way it feels loose. I had a second plumber look at installation thinking that the first plumber had not installed it correctly. It was installed correctly but was told it is a "2 piece" faucet head instead of one piece and it feel loose when you move it to the left or right. I wish I knew there was a difference when I bought this one. Otherwise, new faucet looks great.

So far, so good. Previous version, of a similar Delta unit, leaked & this is the replacement.
About two and a half years ago, I purchased a Delta two-handle kitchen faucet with spray. Four weeks ago, it began to leak just below the Hot knob, whenever either handle was turned on. I did not have any purchase receipts or documentation of where & when I bought it ... and I didn't want to deal with trying to repair it myself. Plus, there was a potential that the leak would get much worse - possibly doing damage to my kitchen, so I decided to purchase this new unit. It is the exact design that fits my needs. Installation was straight-forward & directions were clear. So far, so good.

Nice looking faucet set, but mine had problems.ad they done that I would not have had the first problem.
It looks great, love the high sweeping arch of the faucet, but the sprayer is problematic.
The only way for a consumer to test any faucet is to install the whole device and turn it on. (The factory cpuld test each part in a test setup.) At which point you find out what is bad, and I did. The sprayer leaked from the head to flexible hose fitting. Took it apart three times looking for the problem and could not find it. I called customer support and they sent out a complete assembly, which arrived in about 5 days.
Now I had to climb under the sink and reach all the way up to disconnect the hose to replace it, while maneuvering around all the plumbing in a double basin sink. I first studied the diagram, looked at the part -- they did not match. Looked for instructions on how to disconnect the hose from the faucet, but none were to be found. BTW, it is squeeze the the very top of the fitting on the two tabs which move about .05" inwards and it will release.
Next installed the new one and hooray, no leak. But the design is such that it captures water behind the spray nozzle and slowly leaks out from behind the spay nozzle face after you place back in the holder.
All in all, it is a reasonable priced, slightly flawed faucet.

Can I hook up a portable dishwasher to this faucet?

Howdy, Are the spout, handles, & base of this faucet made of brass, or is the finish applied to a different base metal? I've read that the sprayer is plastic, but is the rest of the faucet all metal? Much obliged, Matt

The specs on model 21988lf faucet state 1/2" line from the wall to the facet. Does that get reduced before the water comes out the spout? I have a gravity feed water system with lower water pressure than typical city water systems.NEED 1/2"
Thank you for your question, john! Model 21988lf uses 1/2" IPS connections. There may be a slight reduction on the inlet nipple; however, this model is designed to produce 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi or 6.8 L/min @ 414 kPa. If you are not getting this flow rate, there will be a decreased flow regardless.
