It has a nice upgraded look, from my old original chrome faucet here in stainless steel similar to brushed nickel. Easy clear installation instructions but removing original faucet was challenging. Note it is adaptable to my original PUR water filter (given the filter came with several adapters). Working perfectly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, great faucet! I bought this faucet to replace my failing mobile home faucet and I think it's a good fit for me. Unlike my no-name MH faucet, I feel confident I'll be able to find parts/cartridges for this unit down the road so even though it may not be heirloom quality, I think it'll serve me well, and I'm happy to have found a Delta product within my limited budget! Unlike some other refurbished items I've seen, this Delta faucet shipped in a full retail package with all the parts bags and instruction sheets, and despite my super power of being able to turn any 20-minute DIY job into a two-hour ordeal, I did get the unit installed with zero leaks! The only installation issue that wasn't my fault is that my stainless sink is made of very thin metal, and the spray support shank isn't threaded all the way up, so even when I tightened the plastic locknut, the support still wobbled on the sink. Since the Delta faucet came with a new plastic gasket, I used my old gasket to fashion a couple of plastic washers that I placed on the spray support shank before putting the locknut on and tightening it. Problem solved, but a couple of optional plastic spacing washers for the spray support shank would have really come in handy.

To whom it may concern. The description says Chrome, but I would like to know is it just chrome plated? If so, what is underneath (what is the body made of)? For example, is the body made of plastic, or steel or stainless steel or something else?

Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is the information needed to resolve your issue for you. It is possible that a flush could resolve this issue. Please follow the following instructions to perform the flush. Please shut water supplies off before starting this process. You will need a 1/8” Allen wrench if you have lever handles, a Philips screwdriver if you have knob handles, a towel, and a bucket. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench if you have a lever or remove the top cap to reveal the Philips screw if you have a knob handle, then pull the handle off of the stem unit. You will now see a bonnet nut, please remove it with your wrench. Please take note of how your stem units are installed in the valve. Please lift straight up to pull the stem units out and If you look into the valve, you should see a seat and spring. Please pull these pieces out before we flush. Next place the towel behind the back of the faucet then put the bucket over the top of the towel. Have someone turn the cold water supply on for about 30 seconds to a minute. After this, shut the cold water off and move the bucket and towel to the hot side flush that out as well. Lastly, remove the aerator and soak with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for about 15 minutes, and make sure to rinse the aerator off with water when completed. IS it normal to have to turn the Hot or Cold handle from closed position to 1/2 way open before water comes out for model number21988LF?

There may be a slight reduction on the inlet nipple; however, this model is designed to produce 1.80 GPM @ 60 psi or 6.8 L/min @ 414 kPa.
