Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor choice I bought this faucet a couple of years back to Replace a Delta faucet I had for years. After a couple of Months the hot water portion the handle became hard to open and close. It also gave an annoying squeak. I sent an email to Delta and they sent me replacement inners. I had a plumber in doing other work and he replaced the inners. That cured the problem for a couple of months and now I am back at square one. Very Disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Set Purchased a month ago, installed by a professional, had a knock off just like it that failed. The quality difference was apparent from the first, the way the spout swings, the way valves deliver the water, and a lifetime warranty to boot. My wife and I could not be happier.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the faucet....but We've loved this faucet since day 1. It compliments our kitchen decor perfectly. However the spray attachment is another story. We've battled leaks from it starting the second week. Now water pours out the trigger assembly. I came here to order a replacement sprayer but I'm not going to spend $63 dollars for something that appears will have the same problem. I'll look around and see if I can locate a sprayer that works without leaking. DELTA, You make outstanding products but how can you charge $63 dollars for something that apparently is poorly designed and destined to fail? I cant recommend this product on this count alone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An instant upgrade to our kitchen! We did not realize how outdated our kitchen faucet was until we replaced the 20-year-old with this faucet in chrome and sprayer. I look for reasons to turn it on! Next, we will do the bathroom faucet as well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice design. Only reason I bought this is that they're nice design and it came with the spray. I'm excited! When I installed it, the hot water ended up stop running due to some debris are stuck inside. I had to wait for 2 weeks to get the replacement parts. I had to hire the plumber to fix it, the plumber struggled to reattach the handler for 45 min. The replacement part don't seem to be fit quite easy. The water pressure is tad bit low but running fine now. It's kinda disappointing to run into this situation that cost me almost $100 to hire the plumber and suffered without hot water I needed to wash the dishes. :/ Delta Faucet customer service is not fabulous that I had hoped for. At least, the hot water is running just fine and the overall of this product looks nice. I was worried that this would be a defective product since the plumber couldn't flush it completely and couldn't reattach it nicely. This is okay product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sprayer mount is made of thin plastic Installed this in my kitchen, Feb. 2011 (paid $132.50). It had worked well and still looked good until early April 2018 when the sprayer mounting sleeve broke. Only my wife and I live here and the sprayer gets little use. There wasn't any excessive strain or abuse placed on this part. I don't see a way to glue it. Now I must decide whether to replace the sprayer with a better quality product, hoping to find something that will look OK with the faucet, or to purchase the $40.00 replacement sprayer that presumably has the same plastic sleeve mount.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy installation I purchased the faucet 21996LF in Apr 2012. The only issue is the spray head leaks since it is made of plastic. No luck replacing the o-rings since the issue is the water wears out the plastic part at the spray head

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaky sprayer Within a few months the sprayer attachment began to leak and it had to be replaced. Wouldn’t recommend. You get what you pay for, but changing it out is no fun.

Water Restrictor/Saver feature in the cartridge

I have two questions: Is there a 2.2 aerator available for this faucet? Can you tell me why there is a water restrictor or water saver in the CARTRIDGE when the aerator has a water restrictor/saver already? I was told by someone that the cartridge has another restrictor feature. Thank you.
Asked by: Cherie
Either a Brita or Pur cartridge filter will work.

where do the bushings go on a 2 handle kitchen faucet? do they go over the orings? the instructions don't say where they actually. The rep on the phone say the have to be lined up? Lined up how?

Asked by: ck me
Hi, Wayne. Thank you for your question. The bottom bushing gets installed onto the diverter assembly inside of the valve body. The top bushing is to be installed on the spout shank at the top above where the two o-rings are located. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is this faucet compatible with a countertop dishwasher?

Asked by: baker
Hi Baker, Thank you for your question. The Delta Windemere Kitchen 21996LF faucet has an aerator with a thread size of 3/4-27, we do not manufacture any adapters to fit dishwashers or filters. You may want to check with a local plumbing store or the makers of the dishwasher for adapters. Best regards, Tanya

What replacement cartridge do I ask for at the store? The paper work says something about order one RP number if there is an a suffix on the faucet code? What the heck is a faucet code. the paperwork says model 21996LF series. Is this the faucet code?

Asked by: Randy
Hi, Randy. Thank you for your question, and we are sorry for any confusion on your Delta 21996LF faucet. The replacement repair kit is determined by the supplier code. The supplier code is located at the back of the escutcheon plate. It is a 6 digit code with either an 'A' or no 'A' after the 6 digits. If the code has an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP54801. If the code does not have an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP41701. Here is a link to the parts diagram to show where the supplier code is located: Best Regards, Rosanna
