Delta kitchen faucets.
Great product. I love the Delta line. I’ve on had trouble with the finish. It keeps getting pits on it. The seats and springs also give way quickly, but Delta is great on sending replacements parts.

I love it!!!
Im actually going to change out the current faucet I have for this one! Going back to the double handles rather than the single and with the sprayer being separate from the neck im able to purchase a water filter on it that I wasnt able to before!

CHROME FAUCET!
I love this new faucet. It's made with the big loop faucet, so it's easier to wash my big pots and pans without making a mess. It's made to take a beating if you do drop a pan on the faucet head without bending or scratching or coming off and causing a leak. The installation is easy, and it's fully operational and even includes a handheld faucet for easy food removal. This faucet will ot perform orthers of the same style. Hands down,I I would suggest this faucet to family and friends.

How do I cap off side sprayer

Can it be installed without that bottom plate!

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, it is not designed to be installed without the base plate. The 2480-RB-DST and 2256-RB-DST are widespread two-handle kitchen faucets, which are available in Venetian Bronze.

Would like two handles but no side sprays
Thank you for your question, K4551! The Delta Foundations Kitchen 21987LF faucet would be the closest matching model without a side sprayer. You may cap off the hose connection under the faucet if you do not wish to use the sprayer. Depending on the code on the back of the faucet, you will either need a 1/2" threaded cap (413763) or the RP60295 (413763-A),

Water Restrictor/Saver feature in the cartridge
I have two questions: Is there a 2.2 aerator available for this faucet?
Can you tell me why there is a water restrictor or water saver in the CARTRIDGE when the aerator has a water restrictor/saver already? I was told by someone that the cartridge has another restrictor feature.

Does it need to be installed with the deck plate or can it be installed with direct contact to the counter top. My proplem is the holes are spread out.

where do the bushings go on a 2 handle kitchen faucet? do they go over the orings? the instructions don't say where they actually. The rep on the phone say the have to be lined up? Lined up how?

Thank you for your question. The bottom bushing gets installed onto the diverter assembly inside of the valve body. The top bushing is to be installed on the spout shank at the top above where the two o-rings are located.

Thank you for your question. There are two versions for this faucet that have two different sprayer caps. If the supplier code in the back of the faucet escutcheon assembly has no 'A' after the 6 digit code, and you have a round connection for your valve end/hose assembly, you will want RP40301 cap. If the supplier code in the back of the faucet escutcheon plate assembly does have an 'A' after the 6 digit code, and the connection for the valve end/hose assembly is square, you will need RP60295.

Brass is recommended for a longer-lasting faucet body, over plastic, which wears out in about 5 years, or so.

Thank you for your inquiry! The sprayer port can be capped. Please refer to the parts diagram below and check to see which code your faucet has on the back of the base. It will be either 413763 or 413763-A. Models with the :-A" can use part number RP60295 to cap off the sprayer outlet. If your faucet has the 413763 code, you can use a threaded cap that works with 1/4"-18 NPSM. Such a cap can be purchased locally at a plumbing or hardware store, or online.

What replacement cartridge do I ask for at the store? The paper work says something about order one RP number if there is an a suffix on the faucet code? What the heck is a faucet code. the paperwork says model 21996LF series. Is this the faucet code?

Thank you for your question, and we are sorry for any confusion on your Delta 21996LF faucet. The replacement repair kit is determined by the supplier code. The supplier code is located at the back of the escutcheon plate. It is a 6 digit code with either an 'A' or no 'A' after the 6 digits. If the code has an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP54801. If the code does not have an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP41701. My sprayer that came with the faucet does not have much force even thought the cheaper that we repleaced worked much better. Has been this way since it was installed. What can I do to improve the forece?

Hi, I recently purchased Delta faucet model 21996LF. Need to know is an ADAPTER that can connect to the spout (after removing the end cap) that will allow me to attach a "swivel" sprayer. ADAPTER screws outside to the spout, sprayer inside to Adapter.

To remove the hose you will firmly press in on the two white tabs of the square connector while at the same time pulling the hose down. You will then see the two o-rings that are attached to the end valve.

Thank you for your question. The Delta 21996LF Faucet Sprayer Assembly can be removed and the faucet can be installed without the sprayer assembly. The faucet will need a spray cap. For the round style quick connect use RP40301. For the square style quick connect use RP60295.
