Great product. I love the Delta line. I’ve on had trouble with the finish. It keeps getting pits on it. The seats and springs also give way quickly, but Delta is great on sending replacements parts.

Im actually going to change out the current faucet I have for this one! Going back to the double handles rather than the single and with the sprayer being separate from the neck im able to purchase a water filter on it that I wasnt able to before!

I bought a Pur water filter for this faucet but none of the adapters that came with it fit on the faucet. What size do I need to fit on this faucet?

You may cap off the hose connection under the faucet if you do not wish to use the sprayer. Water Restrictor/Saver feature in the cartridge
I have two questions: Is there a 2.2 aerator available for this faucet?
Can you tell me why there is a water restrictor or water saver in the CARTRIDGE when the aerator has a water restrictor/saver already? I was told by someone that the cartridge has another restrictor feature.

Does it need to be installed with the deck plate or can it be installed with direct contact to the counter top. My proplem is the holes are spread out.

where do the bushings go on a 2 handle kitchen faucet? do they go over the orings? the instructions don't say where they actually. The rep on the phone say the have to be lined up? Lined up how?

Thank you for your question. The bottom bushing gets installed onto the diverter assembly inside of the valve body. The top bushing is to be installed on the spout shank at the top above where the two o-rings are located.

What replacement cartridge do I ask for at the store? The paper work says something about order one RP number if there is an a suffix on the faucet code? What the heck is a faucet code. the paperwork says model 21996LF series. Is this the faucet code?

Thank you for your question, and we are sorry for any confusion on your Delta 21996LF faucet. The replacement repair kit is determined by the supplier code. The supplier code is located at the back of the escutcheon plate. It is a 6 digit code with either an 'A' or no 'A' after the 6 digits. If the code has an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP54801. If the code does not have an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP41701. Is there a cap off for sink spray if don't want the sprayer?

To know what cap to use for your faucet, you will want to look at the back of the faucet for the supplier code. If your supplier code says 413763-A and has a square end, you will need cap part number RP60295. If your supplier code says 413763 (without an 'A'), you will need cap part number RP40301. How do I replace the seats and seals on this faucet? Does the cap come off of the handles? And how?
Big news for your advice regarding removal of the button on top. It does not just pop off! The thing needs to be unscrewed! Because of your advice I have damaged the button on the top. Can you send me two bottoms to replace the now damaged ones?

My sprayer that came with the faucet does not have much force even thought the cheaper that we repleaced worked much better. Has been this way since it was installed. What can I do to improve the forece?

Can this faucet work without the sprayer connected?
Thank you for your question, Raymond! The sprayer port can be capped. Please refer to the parts diagram below and check to see which code your faucet has on the back of the base. It will be either 413763 or 413763-A. Models with the :-A" can use part number RP60295 to cap off the sprayer outlet. If your faucet has the 413763 code, you can use a threaded cap that works with 1/4"-18 NPSM. Such a cap can be purchased locally at a plumbing or hardware store, or online.

Hi, I recently purchased Delta faucet model 21996LF. Need to know is an ADAPTER that can connect to the spout (after removing the end cap) that will allow me to attach a "swivel" sprayer. ADAPTER screws outside to the spout, sprayer inside to Adapter.

To remove the hose you will firmly press in on the two white tabs of the square connector while at the same time pulling the hose down. You will then see the two o-rings that are attached to the end valve.
