Great product
I purchased this faucet to replace the leaking one in my kitchen. The installation was easy, and everything has worked perfect since. I love that Delta warantees their products for life. I will be buying additional Delta products in the future.

Good company- not sure of this craftsmanship
After 2 years the spout developed 15 pin sized holes in the inside bend. The company did stand behind the product however, and sent us out a new faucet.

Got what I paid for
I have been happy with my faucet for four years now. I did have to replace the sprayer and the valves in the handles recently but the parts were free and no charge for shipping. Would I buy again if I move, YES! The only issue I have is the hard water deposit which is due to well water.

Easy Set-Up, Good Quality, Looks Great
This faucet was pretty easy to set up, is holding up rather well to the test of my kitchen, and looks amazing to boot. I especially appreciate the high arch so larger dishes can fit underneath, and the spray nozzle has a good amount of hose so you can stretch it out to clean off the whole sink. The handles are also a beauty point for this product, with a unique curve to them that adds distinction. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Iffy Quality
This faucet's internals are cheap. The handles are wiggly. The particular model number has 2 different suffixes, evident only on the rear side of the spout cover plate. One model has metal internals and one model has plastic internals.

Great quality faucet
This was an easy install with quality components and a long life expectancy. Good price and speedy delivery. My only improvement is to apply a small amount of clear silicone to the mounting gasket and 'sticking' it to the faucet the night before the install. This way, when installing the faucet it is very easy to then apply a very thin line of sealant or silicone to the gasket to seal it to the sink and prevent any splash water from running into the sink cabinet. Over the years, I've found this much easier when that gasket is already firmly sealed to the faucet and not gooey on both sides making a mess of the project.

Wrong faucet
I thought I had bought a nice faucet, but nobody told me that it's not standard. I had a waterfilter system on my old Delta faucet, which started to leak real bad after 6 years, and now it won't fit anymore. I am stuck with a great working waterfilter system that I can't use, and even if I buy a new sytem, it looks as if that one won't fit either. They always say "will fit most standard faucerts". Be careful if you buy this faucet, make sure you won't have a problem with it later.

Is the Brilliance stainless finish similar to brushed nickel? Will it match or clash with a stainless steel sink?
I replaced a brushed satin with this one and it looks great. I have black garnet counter top.

can i instal adapter garden hose
Dear Zdzichu,
Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Windemere Kitchen 21996LF-SS faucet has a thread size of 3/4-27. Unfortunately, we do not manufacture any adapters to fit garden hoses for that size aerator. You may want to check with a local plumbing store or dealer for more information.
Best regards,
Tanya

Does the aerator thread off?
Thank you for your question, Dave! The aerator will unscrew from the spout. It has a thread size of 3/4"-27.
Best regards, Jon

do you guys carry a cap for where the sprayer attaches at bottom of faucet.. i love faucet dont need sprayer for it it just snaps on it the model 21996lf-ss..if so where can i get it and how much is it
Hi, Carrie!
Thank you for your question. There are two versions for this faucet that have two different sprayer caps. If the supplier code in the back of the faucet escutcheon assembly has no 'A' after the 6 digit code, and you have a round connection for your valve end/hose assembly, you will want RP40301 cap. If the supplier code in the back of the faucet escutcheon plate assembly does have an 'A' after the 6 digit code, and the connection for the valve end/hose assembly is square, you will need RP60295.
You can usually find Delta faucet parts at any dealer that sells Delta faucets. Some good places to check can be found on our website under Where To Buy.

is the faucet's body solid brass, or plastic?
Brass is recommended for a longer-lasting faucet body, over plastic, which wears out in about 5 years, or so.
Hi, Coso!
Thank you for your question. The 21996LF-SS body is made of metal material.
Best Regards,
Rosanna

Since I'm not using the side sprayer is there a part to stop the water from going to the sprayer line? Thanks Barry
Hello Barry,
Thank you for your inquiry! The sprayer port can be capped. Please refer to the parts diagram below and check to see which code your faucet has on the back of the base. It will be either 413763 or 413763-A. Models with the :-A" can use part number RP60295 to cap off the sprayer outlet. If your faucet has the 413763 code, you can use a threaded cap that works with 1/4"-18 NPSM. Such a cap can be purchased locally at a plumbing or hardware store, or online.
Best regards,
Tanya
