Delta kitchen faucet with sprayer, model # 21996LF, is definitely not a good quality product. It looks nice enough, wondering if that is why anyone gave it 5 stars? The weight of the sprayer is like air. The sprayer is light as a feather. Unfortunately I did not do any homework before I ran out and bought it to replace the Signature (Furguson’s brand) kitchen faucet and sprayer I had. The Signature line by Furguson is extremely high quality without paying the enormously high prices of the well known brands charge to cover all their marketing costs etc. Also, it only has a GPM of 1.8. Massachusetts changed the laws and the GPM, gallons per minute, flow rate not to exceed 1.8. I would have gone to New Hampshire to get a faucet and sprayer with better pressure if I knew in advance.

New basement laundry sink replacement

I love it!!!
Im actually going to change out the current faucet I have for this one! Going back to the double handles rather than the single and with the sprayer being separate from the neck im able to purchase a water filter on it that I wasnt able to before!

Beautiful and functional
This faucet is beautiful and well designed. I love how classic it looks and how easy it is to use. I have had issues with pull down faucet hoses, so I really appreciate that the hose is separate.

CHROME FAUCET!
I love this new faucet. It's made with the big loop faucet, so it's easier to wash my big pots and pans without making a mess. It's made to take a beating if you do drop a pan on the faucet head without bending or scratching or coming off and causing a leak. The installation is easy, and it's fully operational and even includes a handheld faucet for easy food removal. This faucet will ot perform orthers of the same style. Hands down,I I would suggest this faucet to family and friends.

Would like two handles but no side sprays
Thank you for your question, K4551! The Delta Foundations Kitchen 21987LF faucet would be the closest matching model without a side sprayer. You may cap off the hose connection under the faucet if you do not wish to use the sprayer. Depending on the code on the back of the faucet, you will either need a 1/2" threaded cap (413763) or the RP60295 (413763-A),

Water Restrictor/Saver feature in the cartridge
I have two questions: Is there a 2.2 aerator available for this faucet?
Can you tell me why there is a water restrictor or water saver in the CARTRIDGE when the aerator has a water restrictor/saver already? I was told by someone that the cartridge has another restrictor feature.

Does it need to be installed with the deck plate or can it be installed with direct contact to the counter top. My proplem is the holes are spread out.

where do the bushings go on a 2 handle kitchen faucet? do they go over the orings? the instructions don't say where they actually. The rep on the phone say the have to be lined up? Lined up how?

Thank you for your question. The bottom bushing gets installed onto the diverter assembly inside of the valve body. The top bushing is to be installed on the spout shank at the top above where the two o-rings are located.

Is this faucet compatible with a countertop dishwasher?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Windemere Kitchen 21996LF faucet has an aerator with a thread size of 3/4-27, we do not manufacture any adapters to fit dishwashers or filters. You may want to check with a local plumbing store or the makers of the dishwasher for adapters.

What replacement cartridge do I ask for at the store? The paper work says something about order one RP number if there is an a suffix on the faucet code? What the heck is a faucet code. the paperwork says model 21996LF series. Is this the faucet code?

Thank you for your question, and we are sorry for any confusion on your Delta 21996LF faucet. The replacement repair kit is determined by the supplier code. The supplier code is located at the back of the escutcheon plate. It is a 6 digit code with either an 'A' or no 'A' after the 6 digits. If the code has an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP54801. If the code does not have an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP41701.
