A Workhorse Faucet
I never believe in writing reviews right away. I installed this faucet in June, 2011 and removed it in August, 2021. First item to go was the sprayer. Replaced that and that lasted a month or two before it wouldn't spray. That new spray handle costs a lot. So you're saying I got my money's worth? Not really. It replaced a faucet that was installed in 1975. I replaced the bathroom sink five years before and it's still going strong. None were Delta. Literally the inner parts of the faucet fell apart. They have this limited lifetime warranty but it's a hassle.

only 2 years and sprayer doesn't work
2 years ago I bought this faucet in the rubbed bronze. The sprayer already leaks and there is no way to take it off. I sent an email to find out and haven't got a reply still. It leaks water, costing me money and I can't use the sprayer, water shoots out the button.

Attractive faucet, but sprayer not durable
We've installed this faucet in 2 new kitchens. It is very attractive, but the sprayer isn't durable. Universal kits are not compatible. Delta is a good brand and we know they'll stand by their product and reach out to us for sending a replacement plus a backup for the replacement, maybe 2!

Sprayer leaks.......
Bought this faucet within the past year and was originally very happy. Now the sprayer thumps and constantly leaks. I see by reading other reviews that this apparently is a fairly common problem with this faucet. I hope that Delta would send a new one to correct the problem with a faucet less than a year old.

Great Faucets
We've had this Delta faucett (#21966LF-SS) in our kitchen for 9 years. I'm actually now looking for stem parts but, except for a faulty sprayer, which Delta replaced, this is the second time I've had a problem and after 9 yrs, I'm pleased with Delta products.(we have 5 Delta units in our home) and have only had to replace seals, thus far. If they replace parts under warranty, isn't that just about a forever product?

Great Faucet--Leaky Sprayer Hose
We bought this faucet a few years ago and it has worked well for us. Recently, the hose to the sprayer started leaking (at the top where it connects to the sprayer). We attempted to replace it with a universal sprayer from Lowe's, but that did not work. Hopefully we can replace the sprayer without having to replace the entire set.

I bought this faucet a couple of years back to Replace a Delta faucet I had for years. After a couple of Months the hot water portion the handle became hard to open and close. It also gave an annoying squeak. I sent an email to Delta and they sent me replacement inners. I had a plumber in doing other work and he replaced the inners. That cured the problem for a couple of months and now I am back at square one. Very Disappointed

Nice Set
Purchased a month ago, installed by a professional, had a knock off just like it that failed. The quality difference was apparent from the first, the way the spout swings, the way valves deliver the water, and a lifetime warranty to boot. My wife and I could not be happier.

Love the faucet....but
We've loved this faucet since day 1. It compliments our kitchen decor perfectly. However the spray attachment is another story. We've battled leaks from it starting the second week. Now water pours out the trigger assembly. I came here to order a replacement sprayer but I'm not going to spend $63 dollars for something that appears will have the same problem. I'll look around and see if I can locate a sprayer that works without leaking. DELTA, You make outstanding products but how can you charge $63 dollars for something that apparently is poorly designed and destined to fail? I cant recommend this product on this count alone.

Would like two handles but no side sprays
Thank you for your question, K4551! The Delta Foundations Kitchen 21987LF faucet would be the closest matching model without a side sprayer. You may cap off the hose connection under the faucet if you do not wish to use the sprayer. Depending on the code on the back of the faucet, you will either need a 1/2" threaded cap (413763) or the RP60295 (413763-A),

Water Restrictor/Saver feature in the cartridge
I have two questions: Is there a 2.2 aerator available for this faucet?
Can you tell me why there is a water restrictor or water saver in the CARTRIDGE when the aerator has a water restrictor/saver already? I was told by someone that the cartridge has another restrictor feature.

Does it need to be installed with the deck plate or can it be installed with direct contact to the counter top. My proplem is the holes are spread out.

where do the bushings go on a 2 handle kitchen faucet? do they go over the orings? the instructions don't say where they actually. The rep on the phone say the have to be lined up? Lined up how?

Thank you for your question. The bottom bushing gets installed onto the diverter assembly inside of the valve body. The top bushing is to be installed on the spout shank at the top above where the two o-rings are located.

Is this faucet compatible with a countertop dishwasher?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Windemere Kitchen 21996LF faucet has an aerator with a thread size of 3/4-27, we do not manufacture any adapters to fit dishwashers or filters. You may want to check with a local plumbing store or the makers of the dishwasher for adapters.

What replacement cartridge do I ask for at the store? The paper work says something about order one RP number if there is an a suffix on the faucet code? What the heck is a faucet code. the paperwork says model 21996LF series. Is this the faucet code?

Thank you for your question, and we are sorry for any confusion on your Delta 21996LF faucet. The replacement repair kit is determined by the supplier code. The supplier code is located at the back of the escutcheon plate. It is a 6 digit code with either an 'A' or no 'A' after the 6 digits. If the code has an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP54801. If the code does not have an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP41701.
