Great product

Good company- not sure of this craftsmanship
After 2 years the spout developed 15 pin sized holes in the inside bend. The company did stand behind the product however, and sent us out a new faucet.

Great faucet

Got what I paid for
I have been happy with my faucet for four years now. I did have to replace the sprayer and the valves in the handles recently but the parts were free and no charge for shipping. Would I buy again if I move, YES! The only issue I have is the hard water deposit which is due to well water.

Easy Set-Up, Good Quality, Looks Great
This faucet was pretty easy to set up, is holding up rather well to the test of my kitchen, and looks amazing to boot. I especially appreciate the high arch so larger dishes can fit underneath, and the spray nozzle has a good amount of hose so you can stretch it out to clean off the whole sink. The handles are also a beauty point for this product, with a unique curve to them that adds distinction. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.

Iffy Quality
This faucet's internals are cheap. The handles are wiggly. The particular model number has 2 different suffixes, evident only on the rear side of the spout cover plate. One model has metal internals and one model has plastic internals.

Great quality faucet
This was an easy install with quality components and a long life expectancy. Good price and speedy delivery. My only improvement is to apply a small amount of clear silicone to the mounting gasket and 'sticking' it to the faucet the night before the install. This way, when installing the faucet it is very easy to then apply a very thin line of sealant or silicone to the gasket to seal it to the sink and prevent any splash water from running into the sink cabinet. Over the years, I've found this much easier when that gasket is already firmly sealed to the faucet and not gooey on both sides making a mess of the project.

Wrong faucet
I thought I had bought a nice faucet, but nobody told me that it's not standard. I had a waterfilter system on my old Delta faucet, which started to leak real bad after 6 years, and now it won't fit anymore. I am stuck with a great working waterfilter system that I can't use, and even if I buy a new sytem, it looks as if that one won't fit either. They always say "will fit most standard faucerts". Be careful if you buy this faucet, make sure you won't have a problem with it later.

Would like two handles but no side sprays
Thank you for your question, K4551! The Delta Foundations Kitchen 21987LF faucet would be the closest matching model without a side sprayer. You may cap off the hose connection under the faucet if you do not wish to use the sprayer. Depending on the code on the back of the faucet, you will either need a 1/2" threaded cap (413763) or the RP60295 (413763-A),

Water Restrictor/Saver feature in the cartridge
I have two questions: Is there a 2.2 aerator available for this faucet?
Can you tell me why there is a water restrictor or water saver in the CARTRIDGE when the aerator has a water restrictor/saver already? I was told by someone that the cartridge has another restrictor feature.

Does it need to be installed with the deck plate or can it be installed with direct contact to the counter top. My proplem is the holes are spread out.

where do the bushings go on a 2 handle kitchen faucet? do they go over the orings? the instructions don't say where they actually. The rep on the phone say the have to be lined up? Lined up how?

Thank you for your question. The bottom bushing gets installed onto the diverter assembly inside of the valve body. The top bushing is to be installed on the spout shank at the top above where the two o-rings are located.

Is this faucet compatible with a countertop dishwasher?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Windemere Kitchen 21996LF faucet has an aerator with a thread size of 3/4-27, we do not manufacture any adapters to fit dishwashers or filters. You may want to check with a local plumbing store or the makers of the dishwasher for adapters.

What replacement cartridge do I ask for at the store? The paper work says something about order one RP number if there is an a suffix on the faucet code? What the heck is a faucet code. the paperwork says model 21996LF series. Is this the faucet code?

Thank you for your question, and we are sorry for any confusion on your Delta 21996LF faucet. The replacement repair kit is determined by the supplier code. The supplier code is located at the back of the escutcheon plate. It is a 6 digit code with either an 'A' or no 'A' after the 6 digits. If the code has an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP54801. If the code does not have an 'A' after it, you will need repair kit number RP41701.
