Good product w/small issue.
Selected this kitchen faucet when be built our new home very happy with it except for one very small part. The Sprayer Assembly contains a small (about 1/4") screen that needs to be cleaned two or three time a year. Also I am unable to find a replacement. The original one is still good but I figure it will eventually need to be replaced.

Q&A
New build home, the water pressure with this faucet is extremely low. The water line valves are fully open, allowing full pressure to the faucet. There is also no blockage in the faucet head. Could there be an issue with the faucet itself?

The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used; however, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate).
Quality is of high importance to us, and our products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high-quality performance. Non-metallic products are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode and help prevent heat transfer.

Hi, I have a Delta Broderick 2390L-DST and was sent a replacement valve assembly to correct a squeaking sound. I noticed that the bonnet nut is recessed and may require a specific tool to remove it. Any suggestion on what I could use?

I currently have a Delta Faucet model 2390L-KS-DST BRODERICK™ Two Handle Pull-Down Bridge Kitchen Faucet.The cold water turn handle is getting increasingly hard to turn. The hot water one glides nice and easy. The unit is only 1 year old, how do I fix it?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 2390L-KS-DST. We apologize the handle is harder to turn. We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible.
The issue is likely caused by debris trapped in the faucet. To flush the valve, turn off the water supply and use a bucket for redirecting the water spray down into the sink. Remove the handle, bonnet nut, and cartridge. Then with the bucket over the faucet, turn on the water supply for a minute to flush any debris out of the valve and supply. the valve can be cleaned with 50/50 white vinegar and water to remove any mineral deposits.
If the issue remains, we recommend replacing the RP60400 cartridge.

2390L RB, We have 2 3/4" to backsplash 8 3/8" to window sill, the sill comes out 1/3/4'" can you tell me the diameter of the spout above the handles and the measurement to were it reduces for the arch. Thank You

After installing this unit we noticed a decrease in water pressure while using this faucet. My question is, is there a water restrictor built into this unit??

The BRODERICK™ Pull-Down Bridge Kitchen Faucet MODEL#: 2390L-DST can be cleaned by simply wiping gently with a damp cloth and blotting dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measures are needed, a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar (not apple cider or balsamic vinegar) and water could be used by wiping, spraying, or soaking. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward and wipe it dry.

Can the aerator be removed to increase the water pressure?

Thank you for your question and we are happy to help! We do not recommend removing the aerator to improve water pressure. We recommend flushing the valves.
To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Start with the easy stuff:
Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed.
If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.
Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.
If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet.
Next, check the supply lines for debris:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.
Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.
Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies.
