I have purchased a Delta Abbott faucet for my kitchen . Which finish should I purchase for the air gap. Arctic stainless? Or Stainless?

Hi. I tried to install my new 72020-SS air gap but the body has openings for two lines and I only have one line coming from the dishwasher. I don't have a line coming from my disposal. Is there a different body I can buy with an opening for a single hose?

Hi AliS, Thanks for your question regarding 72020-SS! An air gap is installed to prevent backflow or back siphonage of non-potable water into potable water systems. It is most often installed for use with dishwashers. The air gap prevents the dirty water leaving the dishwasher from getting back into the dishwasher and is typically installed on the counter nearest to the dishwasher. To install the air gap, you will need to connect the larger leg below the counter to a garbage disposal or sink trap and the smaller leg to the hose from the dishwasher. Only the cover and a few inches of the body will be visible from above the counter as the collar gasket and nut will hold the air gap in place. Re 72020-SS air gap; are all visible parts stainless? I have tried several air gaps w/ caps and there seems to always be a ring above the sink top which shows between the cap and the sink - please assist me in finding the right product.

The 72020-SS has a lip at the bottom to help hide the internal parts, this mean the only thing you should see on the outside is the SS product.
