I have had three faucets over 5 years now
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought and installed three of these faucet, two at both of my houses that I owned and one at my girlfriend's house. She had to have one because her old faucet did not come on with touch, so I bought her one for her house. I love these faucets and I am about to move again and looking to buy and install another one. The faucet at my girlfriend's house was acting up last year. I called the Delta company team and they helped troubleshooting the situation. They replaced and shipped the part that was acting up, I love companies that stands by its product, and Delta is one of them.

Touch Activation or maybe not
We purchased two of these kitchen faucets, one works, the other does not. I assumed that the water was supposed to come on when you touched the faucet. This is not the case with our unit. You can touch it four or five times and the water may or may not come on. Don't waste your money on the Delta Touch Activation faucet. We got hold of Delta, they sent us some parts, that a plumber had to install, and it still doesn't work correctly.

Opt for the ac adapter so you won't go through batteries. It has been installed for about 9 months and 2 months ago the magnetic ring started rusting in the body. Now it won't even retract

A Year Later

We can now say with all assurances that this faucet is tops. It is so easy to turn off and on, requiring only a flick of the wrist, that I don't know how we got along without it! In addition, the expandable sink spray with adjustable spray is a dandy feature. We love the faucet.
BTW, we called our plumber before making this purchase. He recommended Delta as one of two brands he goes with. So glad we called him. Nothing like a great plumber. He steered us in the right direction.

Good Looks and Function
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been over a year ago that I purchased this faucet for our house that we built. I bought the Delta after doing some research and do not regret the decision. I love the on/off touch activation especially when my hands are messy from baking and I need to wash them. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, since we had to replace the batteries after just a year -- expected it would be closer to the 2 year mark.

Doesn't work properly
We got a bad apple. I splurged on this thinking the touch activation would be great. We've had it for maybe 6 months now and I want to throw it away and start fresh. This is more work than it's worth and come to find out there is a mechanism that isn't working properly. They sent us a new part but now we need to pay a plumber to come out and replace or even better install a new one. We have a deep sink so getting to the parts is going to be awful. I'll be sticking to Moen or Kohler next time.

Would be great if it worked!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First unit I received from build.com would only turn on if you touched the bottom part of it and the LED didn't show the right color for the temperature. Contacted Delta and they said a replacement a couple WEEKS later. Replacement unit fixed the first issue but the LED still doesn't work. (only ever shows red and never blue) Waiting on a second replacement.
But if it worked, it would be great. Feels sturdy. It's just that the special features don't actually function.

I bought this a month ago and a so happy with it. I love the feature that tells you when the water is hot as I have a tankless water heater. Looks like this one will last quite a while and I love the lifetime guarantee.

Better than expected!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Last year, I saw a Brizo touch on/off kitchen faucet and loved it. After learning that Brizo is Delta's luxury line, I figured: Why not try the Delta version for myself? I'm glad I did. We just installed the faucet two days ago. It fits well into our contemporary kitchen. I really like the light at the bottom which indicates with blue and red the current temperature of the water -- an unexpected good surprise. Some people have reviewed that the tap on/off doesn't work well. It does. You can't grab the faucet, just give a light tap. Then it works every time. One thing we're going to try is a counterweight inside so that the built-in spray head retracts a little quicker. Quality build -- I'd buy again. * While I paid full price for this faucet when ordering, Delta followed up after-purchase with an incentive to write an unbiased review.

The touch technology comes in very handy when cooking and I love the magnetic docking spray head. It goes right back into place. I also love the spray feature as it has a nice clean stream. The love the height of the faucet and it looks great with our new apron front stainless sink. The removable head/sprayer is easy to use and provides enough pressure to clean plates and sides of sink. . The touch feature is very convenient once you train yourself not to touch the handle. One of my favorite features is the color coded light the changes from blue to red when the water temp changes.

Elegant faucet
Installed a little over two weeks ago and absolutely no complaints. We have been looking to replace our old faucet for awhile now and wanted the ease of a touch faucet. It's been working great for us. I was surprised with how it can recognize the length of your touch and respond accordingly. For example if the faucet is already on and you move the head by grabbing it, it will remain on. Then by giving it another slight touch it will turn off. Install was really easy. No basin wrench needed.

As mentioned in one review, the sprayer does not automatically shut when you turned the water off...How do you turn off the sprayer?

The Delta Faucet model 9113T-AR-DST-R Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet With Touch2O® Technology (Recertified) has a toggle switch on the wand assembly that can be switched back and forth to change the spray setting being used. The spray setting will not change back to the stream as a default.

Is brushed nickel the same as artic stainless?
