Not perfect, but great anyway
This faucet is described this way: "simply place your hand near the faucet, tap the faucet surface, or use standard handle activation." The part about placing your hand near the faucet is not reliable, but the tap feature is great and overall we like this faucet a lot.

Attractive faucet but with some concerns
Bought this faucet to go with our new Blanco Diamond White sink. Attractive faucet with excellent spout reach. Functionally it works very well but I am surprised the water volume is not a bit more robust. Also, I am surprised that to make the hose connection between the supply and faucet requires an extra (supplied) retainer clip rather than having secure connections at the onset. I've never seen this before and in reviews I have read elsewhere, say the retainer clip can pop off on its own which is very concerning. I hope that does not happen. Finally, the installation instructions (and I have seen many in my lifetime) could have been way better.

A great triple-function faucet
The triple functionality of this faucet is perfect. I originally thought touchless would be my favorite setting, but find a tap function more useful. With touchless, the water tended to cycle on and off unintentionally, when my hands were busy in the sink. You can choose the setting and sensitivity for any setting, so that is very helpful. I love this faucet and highly recommend it.

Happy with this purchase.
So far so good. only been using it for a couple weeks now, but so far it's been great. Went from a two handle to a single handle and the operation of this Faucet is very easy to use. Seems very well made & looks great. A friend installed it for me, which he said was an easy installation.

We love the new touch/touchless faucet for our kitchen sink. It works great. I’m in the process of finding the Power supply to use for the unit instead of changing batteries. That looks like a great upgrade from our previous faucet in a different house.

The screw that holds the faucet handle in place seems to have come off and I cannot find it. Also is there supposed to be a cover over the screw. I cannot find that either. Would I be able to get replacements. 9113-AR-DST.

I have the Essa 9113TL-BL-DST touchless faucet. We love it! but my dishwasher (which shares the hot water supply) turns the faucet on and off. Any suggestions on how to address that?

In the "off" position, is the handle supposed to be vertical or can it be adjusted so that cold is more to the left?

When off, the handle can be pointed up or forward. Move the handle away from the faucet to turn it on. Move the handle between up and forward to adjust the temperature.

I have a Essa Single handle pull down faucet. How do you fix slow hot water flow? The cold water flow is normal.

There may be blockage in the hot water lines, please refer to the flushing instructions below.
This type of flushing requires to be under the sink. *Please gather one 5 GAL bucket and some towels for excess water.
1. Please shut off both hot AND cold water supplies.
2. Remove the COLD water line and point the line into the bucket.
3. Turn the HOT water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute.
4. Turn the HOT water back off and install the cold water line correctly.
5. Remove the HOT water line and point the line into the bucket.
6. Turn the COLD water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute.
7. Turn the COLD water back off and install the hot water line correctly.

How do I tighten the nut under the sink? It is loose now and none of the tools that I purchased work. Also, the installers didn't leave the special tools that came with it. The model we have is the 9113-AR-DST ESSA Single Handle Pull Down Kitchen.

The mounting nut is tightened with a 15/16" wrench or an adjustable wrench. Then, tighten the screws on the mounting bracket with a screwdriver. Replacement mounting hardware with the wrench is available as RP92714.

What kind of flow rate can I expect at 40psi? I intend to use this in my camper and often times campgrounds have low pressure around 40, sometimes less.

CAN I PUT A SPRAY SHEILD SPRAY HEAD ON MODEL #9113T-BL-DST FAUCET

A ShieldSpray head from a different faucet should work and dock. The shape would be different. Most of our pull-down faucets use the same magnetic retainer at the end of the spout to dock.
For example, the RP100546BL spray head from the model 19846TLZ-BL-DST.

Can your faucets be mounted so that the control lever is on the left side of the faucet instead of the right side? I ask this question because we have a reverse osmosis faucet mounted close to the faucet on the right side.

The spout swivels 360 degrees, so the faucet can be installed with the handle on the left. But the handle motion would be reversed, the handle would be pushed back to set the temperature instead of pulled forward. The indicator light on the faucet's base would be on the back of the faucet.

What do you recommend to use to cleanthis faucet
Hi Brad,
Thank you for your question. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward.
If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik® All Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use.
Avoid using the following which can damage your finish:
Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.
Avoid bleach-based cleaners.

My faucet was installed in position two. I am verifying when the handle is up that is cold. When I pull it down towards me it will be hot? It seems to me the red/blue dots are reversed. When the wand is docked can I change the flow to a spray?

My Delta Essa 9113-BL-DST is now 10 yrs installed and we are now getting some clicking when closing the valve. I suspect I need to maintain/rebuild the valve. Is there a rebuild kit for the valve or do I need a new valve?

Is there a shorter hold/cold mixer handle that could be swapped out with this model? Mine just touches the raised bar counter top when pulled out and all the way back for hot water. If the handle was just a 1/4" shorter it wouldn't be an issue.

How do you remove the aerator

Unfortunately the aerator is not able to be removed from the wand. If there is any debris or cleaning that needs to be done, we recommend soaking the wand in 50/50 white vinegar and water.
