Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pretty but... The spray nodule did not sit flush within the faucet base. For the amount we paid for this faucet, we should not encounter these issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful faucet from a name you can trust! Love this Delta Trinsic faucet! The champagne gold color is gorgeous and looks very high-end. It feels solid and sturdy, and the handle turns on and off super smoothly. The pull-down sprayer works great, and installation was easy- my husband had no trouble at all. Definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality you can trust! I’m currently in the process of remodeling my entire kitchen, and this faucet fits beautifully into my design plans. The quality is immediately noticeable—the faucet feels solid, substantial, and extremely well made. The finish is smooth and consistent, giving it a truly high-end, luxurious look. I’m planning on using gold fixtures throughout my kitchen, and although this finish is technically champagne bronze, it works extremely well with that aesthetic. The tone is warm and elegant and blends seamlessly with other gold elements without clashing. The pull-down feature operates smoothly and feels sturdy, and the overall height and reach will be ideal as I switch to a single-bowl sink. Delta is a brand you can trust when it comes to craftsmanship and reliability, and this faucet definitely reflects that reputation. It’s both functional and visually striking and will elevate the overall look and feel of my kitchen.

Q&A

My faucet has developed a leak that is interior and leaking down the pex supply lines under the sink. Can this be fixed?

Asked by: Hans
Hi Hans, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about 9159-AR-DST! I am sorry for the issue with your faucet leaking. First, the bonnet that holds the cartridge in might be loose, we would recommend removing the handle and tightening the bonnet nut. I bought a Delta Trinsic  faucet (9159-DST) last year for my kitchen remodel. I started using the faucet 4/2023 and now the handle set screw won’t stay tightened. Can you please help me get this fixed? New set screw? Other worn out part? Please help!

Asked by: Sandy

Hi, the diverter switch in my faucet is difficult to press after owning the faucet for about a year. When first installed, the diverter switch felt crisp and smooth. Now it feels very sluggish and sometimes is hard to switch entirely. Any advice?

Asked by: Thomas
Hello Thomas, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! If the Delta 9159-CZ-DST wand button is tight, I would suggest to soak the wand in 50/50 white vinegar and water. This will help breaking any debris or build up that may be causing the button to be tight. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

I purchased this about a year ago. I cleaned the aerator but i still have low water pressure. Is there anything I should clean or replace?

Asked by: waterfuze
Hi, waterfuze! Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet In Matte Black MODEL#: 9159-BL-DST! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is the information needed to resolve your issue for you. Reduced flow is typically caused by debris. We recommend flushing the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold-water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shutoff valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley

The plastic mesh piece at the very end of the faucet head has broken, so a heavy stream is what comes out. I'd call it the aerator, but I think that's a metal mesh piece within the faucet head. Is this little grey plastic mesh piece replaceable?

Is there a left hand cartridge for this that would allow me to move the handle to the left side?

Asked by: Bryan
Hi Bryan, Thanks for your question regarding 9959-CZ-DST! No, there is not a left-handed cartridge for this model. We recommend installing the faucet with the handle on the right. The handle operates by tilting away from the faucet to turn on and rotating forward to increase the temperature. Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse the movement, so if the handle is installed on the left or front, it will rotate backward. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance. Best Regards, Emma Digital Communications Specialist

The hot water for the faucet only gets warm.  Any suggestions?

Asked by: SoCalGuy
Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please gather towels, a 5 GAL bucket, or a large bowl. 1. Unscrew the wand from the hose and check the inside of the wand for debris. With the wand removed, point the hose into the drain and turn the faucet on for 1 minute to flush the hose. *Please do not release the hose with the wand removed or it may retract into the faucet.* 2. Turn the handle to the off position, gather towels and place the bucket or large bowl under the sink, disconnect the hose assembly from the gray PEX tube. 3. Turn the water on and flush the PEX tube for 1 minute, turn the water off, and re-connect the hose. 4. Turn the water on and check for leaks. If you are still experiencing a low flow, the inlet tubing may need to be flushed. 1. Please shut off both hot AND cold water supplies. 2. Remove the COLD water line and point the line into the bucket. 3. Turn the HOT water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute. 4. Turn the HOT water back off and install the cold water line correctly. 5. Remove the HOT water line and point the line into the bucket. 6. Turn the COLD water on and allow the water to flow into the bucket for about a minute. 7. Turn the COLD water back off and install the hot water line correctly. We appreciate your inquiry.
