With the handle installed on the right side in the picture, does it just operate forward for temperature; or both forward and backward?

Asked by: Ron
Hi Ron, Thank you for your question! With the faucet installed with the handle facing the right the handle will rotate forward. Pulling the handle out will turn the unit on and put out cold water and when the handle is pulled forward you will get hot water. Best regards, Brandis

On page 4 of the install instructions it says the max thickness for the counter top is 3" but on the web page it says 2.5". If it is 2.5" is there an extension/spacer of some kind available so it could be used with a counter top 2.75" thick?

I have a question regarding the 9959-DST Trinsic prep faucet. Because of the location on my counter, I will have to mount the handle on the left, so I was wondering if the handle swivels the same amount back as forward (like 45 degrees each way).

Asked by: LeftMount
Hi, LeftMount! Thank you for your question. The Delta 9959-DST faucet can be installed with the handle mounted to the left as the spout does rotate 360 degrees. However, be aware that the operation of the handle will be opposite. Best Regards, Rosanna

How do I clean the screens on the spray head of your 9159-DST Trinsic kitchen faucet

Asked by: Jeanie
Thank you for your question, Jeanie! We recommend unscrewing the wand assembly from the hose and soaking it in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 30-60 minutes, then run water both directions through the wand. You can also use an old toothbrush to gently scrub the aerator. Please be sure that the hose does not retract into the spout with the wand removed. Best regards, Jon

How do you replace the aerator on this model? I have this model and it needs cleaning but I have no idea how to remove the aerator for cleaning. Note I do not have the manual or original packaging.

Asked by: Robert
Thank you for your question, Robert. The aerator is not designed to be removed. However, you can unscrew the spray wand from the hose and clean the screen at the hose connection as any debris from the water lines would found here. We also recommend soaking the wand in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water to help dissolve mineral buildup. Best regards, Jon

Why can't I remove the screen to remove build-up of sludge from water system

this faucet continues to minimize and then just about eliminate flow. The screen area is sealed preventing cleaning. I am frustrated.
Asked by: Sandra
There is a YouTube video illustrating how to disassemble the wand and clean it. Here are the steps: 1. Use small screw driver at top of button to pop it off. 2. Remove the Phillips head set screw. 3. Slide interior assembly down slightly to expose set screw hole in small plastic "cam" piece. 4. Pop out (from bottom) the small plastic "cam" piece. 5. Slide interior assembly down to completely remove. 6. Unscrew the bottom part (about 1/2" long) of interior assembly. 7. Clean both parts of interior assembly (this will be obvious!). Reassemble the wand assembly by repeating the above steps in reverse order. Replace the button (last reassembly step) by pushing in bottom part first. If button does not work, remove and try again. This took me several tries. Here is the link to the YouTube video, which is not mine, but was very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7Yx1f1r5lQ&feature=em-share_video_user
