Rusted at the magnetic connector. We have had this for less than 3 years and the part that magnetically holds the hose in place has rusted and caused it to fail.

Is there any faucet out there that will last?
I bought this faucet 3 years ago thinking it was a good quality faucet, because I recommended it to lots of clients. I love the handle because it's very easy to manipulate with just a finger when I've got my hands full. It was easy to install. The pull-down sprayer button is a plastic rocker style sprayer which gets gummed up and doesn't snap on or off. I'm frequently attempting to clean it to get it back into working order (so it doesn't' dripple during use), but it goes right back to the dripple after some vigorous attempt to clean by shoving bristles of a cleaning brush between the button and the sprayer. Another issue is moisture can get between the prayer and the gooseneck and create a smell so I'm constantly cleaning the point where the two parts come together and having to fully dry them so they don't create more bacteria growth. After one year the magnet rusted out and dropped and I received a new one under warranty. When we renovate this kitchen, I'm getting a different type of faucet, these pull down sprayers are not worth the fuss. I liked the Kraus faucet I had previously that just had a button that you press to hold the sprayer - that one didn't get all gummed up easily. However Kraus changed the design and no longer has that type of sprayer.

I chose this faucet primarily for its color, which matches the hardware in my kitchen. However, I didn’t do much research beforehand, and unfortunately, the design has proven to be less functional than expected. The handle is quite dainty and not very user-friendly. It’s also difficult to service when needed. Compared to other faucets I’ve purchased, this one falls short — I wouldn’t recommend it.

Delta Trinsic 1.8 GPM Single Hole Pull Down Kitchen Faucet with Limited Swivel
Handle consistently fell off after 6 months of use. Now sprayer has deteriorated and need to place entire faucet after 3.5 years. Would not purchase Delta again. Changing to Moen.

Great faucet
I have had my new faucet for a month. It works great, and looks good. My primary complaint with the previous faucet was that the sprayer would not stay docked. Every time I walked by, I was pushing it back in place. This one docks firmly, and stays where it is supposed to be. I am happy with my choice.

The handle has come loose. How do I access the set screw to adjust ? I see a cap with 2 indentations - how does that come off?

Thank you for your question. The handle assembly for the Delta 9159-KSLS-DST Faucet has a small button that hides a set screw. Remove the small button by popping the button out with something flat like a flat head screwdriver. The set screw can be unscrewed from the handle with a 1/8" Allen wrench.

What does limited swivel mean exactly?

Thank you for your question. The Limited Swivel on the Delta 9159-CZLS-DST Faucet indicates that the spout swivels only 140° instead of the whole 360° as the Delta 9159-CZ-DST Faucet swivels.

How to repair a loose handle? I didn't see any screw on the handle.

The Delta model 9159-LS-DST has a small button that hides the set screw. Remove the small button by popping the button out. The set screw can be tightened from the handle with a 1/8" Allen wrench.

The Delta Faucet model 9159-AR-DST Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet In Arctic Stainless is unable to have a separate component installed to allow it to be limited. What is the difference between the 9159-CZ-DST model and the 9959 CZ-DST model?

I am seeing this on Amazon for $411.25. It shows the web site as Delta Faucet store. The model number is correct for Arctic Stainless, but it also mentions Brushed nickel, which this does not come in. Is it real?

This is not an accurate description since this model does not come in a brushed nickel finish. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. Model 9159-ARLS-DST will be in the Arctic Stainless finish which is more of a grey tone than brushed nickel or stainless steel.
