Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kitchen Faucet A good subsitute to the fauce we had. Contemporary. Sleek. Made in the USA. With pull out spray. Working.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rusted Rusted at the magnetic connector. We have had this for less than 3 years and the part that magnetically holds the hose in place has rusted and caused it to fail.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is there any faucet out there that will last? I bought this faucet 3 years ago thinking it was a good quality faucet, because I recommended it to lots of clients. I love the handle because it's very easy to manipulate with just a finger when I've got my hands full. It was easy to install. The pull-down sprayer button is a plastic rocker style sprayer which gets gummed up and doesn't snap on or off. I'm frequently attempting to clean it to get it back into working order (so it doesn't' dripple during use), but it goes right back to the dripple after some vigorous attempt to clean by shoving bristles of a cleaning brush between the button and the sprayer. Another issue is moisture can get between the prayer and the gooseneck and create a smell so I'm constantly cleaning the point where the two parts come together and having to fully dry them so they don't create more bacteria growth. After one year the magnet rusted out and dropped and I received a new one under warranty. When we renovate this kitchen, I'm getting a different type of faucet, these pull down sprayers are not worth the fuss. I liked the Kraus faucet I had previously that just had a button that you press to hold the sprayer - that one didn't get all gummed up easily. However Kraus changed the design and no longer has that type of sprayer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sink faucet Good price and quality. Looks good on our sink.
Date published: 2025-07-08
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a 5 star I chose this faucet primarily for its color, which matches the hardware in my kitchen. However, I didn’t do much research beforehand, and unfortunately, the design has proven to be less functional than expected. The handle is quite dainty and not very user-friendly. It’s also difficult to service when needed. Compared to other faucets I’ve purchased, this one falls short — I wouldn’t recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice looking with good function. Bought this because we liked the clean, simple lines. Works fine with good flow rate.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Delta Trinsic 1.8 GPM Single Hole Pull Down Kitchen Faucet with Limited Swivel Handle consistently fell off after 6 months of use. Now sprayer has deteriorated and need to place entire faucet after 3.5 years. Would not purchase Delta again. Changing to Moen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great faucet I have had my new faucet for a month. It works great, and looks good. My primary complaint with the previous faucet was that the sprayer would not stay docked. Every time I walked by, I was pushing it back in place. This one docks firmly, and stays where it is supposed to be. I am happy with my choice.

How do you clean the sprayer head as it is making a whistling sound when turned on medium to high flow?

Asked by: Handyman
Hi Handyman, Thank you for your question! I recommend cleaning the sprayer by soaking in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinsing the finish. Unscrewing the hose from the sprayer and cleaning the connection can also help. Loop or secure the hose so it doesn't retract into the spout. Please reach out with any additional questions! how do I disasemble this clogged faucet head? thank you

Asked by: konrad
Hello konrad, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available on our TRINSIC® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Limited Swivel MODEL#: 9159-ARLS-DST, and I am happy to help you! We recommend flushing the unit and checking for where the blockage is located, To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Please contact us back with any further questions. Hi John, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Our Delta Faucet Trinsic® Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Limited Swivel In Chrome MODEL#: 9159-LS-DST would need to be flushed. Asked by: Doug

Is there a way to adjust the tension on the operation of the handle for the 9159-ARLS-DST. It is very stiff compared to other faucets. I have the same type but different brand faucet in the laundry room that operates very smoothly and easily.

Asked by: Jerri
Hi Jerri, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Limited Swivel In Arctic Stainless MODEL#: 9159-ARLS-DST. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. If the handle has become stiff, we would recommend soaking the cartridge in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Please see the steps below for soaking and flushing the faucet. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Check the supply lines: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply, then do this with the hot waterside. Once the flush has been done, please reconnect both water lines. Lastly, insert a small screwdriver into the slot in the button and remove it. Loosen the set screw inside the handle. Remove handle. Remove cap by rotating counterclockwise. Bonnet may be stiff due to O-ring, but should rotate by hand. Remove the bonnet nut by rotating counterclockwise with a wrench. Remove the cartridge by pulling it directly back on the stem. Take a soft cloth and wipe the puck located behind the cartridge, let the cartridge soak in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water for about 10 minutes before reassembling. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole
