This kitchen faucet looks amazing! I love the design and how sleek it looks. I also love the touchiness feature, it’s perfect when working with meet or dirt hands where you don’t want to touch the faucet. It also has a light that indicates the heat do the water which I love ( blue for cold, red for hot). It was also easy to install.

Nice faucet with great technology. Love the touchless feature, though find it can be finicky sometimes getting it to start and then is sensitive to stops mid wash. Installation wasn’t too difficult for my husband. Material is decent, but seems to be more plastic than metal. I have to play around with the touchless settings more, but think it will come in handy! It looks very pretty as well.

Magnet rusted out
The magnet at top of faucet that hose runs through has rusted out and I had to remove it. The spraying end piece no longer stays up because of it.
It’s a poor design if the magnet rusted out so easily.

No water pressure out of head
We like our new faucet, just had complete kitchen remodel completed two months ago. For some reason with the head off water pressure is great but screws the head on and we lose water pressure, plumber had head off once and it improved slightly but now it’s right back to low pressure, very frustrating

Leaking after 5 months
DEL-9197-RB-DST. I do like the faucet. It would have received a 4-5 star rating. But unfortunately it is already leaking after 5-6 months of light use. It is leaking at the connection between the spray head and hose. O-ring has no scars. Might be a bad design or something faulty. I still haven’t heard back about my warranty claim.

4 Years Later, and Don't Love It!
For the price, you'd think this would be a top of the line faucet. But here we are, 4 years later struggling to get this thing tightened. It is installed with a farmhouse sink, which makes it incredibly difficult to work with. But even that aside, why is this coming loose to begin with? Most of the underneath is plastic, so it isn't wearing well. Also, the touch on/off feature seemed cool at first, but it is kind of annoying and takes quite a few batteries to work. It also stays in the "on" position unless you tap it to turn it off. If you forget, you'll just waste a lot of batteries. I wish I would have just gotten a normal pull down faucet.

No hot water pressure - worst customer service !!!
Purchased Oct. 2020. After 2 months - no hot water pressure. Agent sent me new valve; no change. Spoke to agent Justin Miles who told me that they need to send me a second valve just to make sure that the valves aren't defective and if that didn't resolve issue they would send me new faucet. Asked to speak with supervisor was told one would call. That was over three weeks ago. Received new valve; same result. Called and asked to speak to Justin Miles was told no agent by that name. Recanted my history was told that I could pay 30% and get a new faucet. Guaranteed for life seems more like extortion.

Sink faucet
I like the faucet, great product. On the soup dispenser, it dose not fit as well as I think it should. The top is wabbly, but the bottom container is OK.

Love the ShieldSpray!
We bought this to replace an existing faucet and have been very pleased. It was quite expensive, but a beautiful, functional asset to our kitchen. The magnet keeps the head firmly attached, yet it is very easy to detach when needed. The hot/cold handle position are well marked. Also, I love the new ShieldSpray feature. It works as stated on the Delta website. Great poduct!

Nice Kitchen Faucet
We really like the Delta 9197-RB-DST. The height of the faucet is much better than our older faucet we had replaced and works well with our 70/30 deep sink. We like the spray options and the sprayer comes out very easily and is very convenient for a quick rinse of the sinks and its high enough that you really don't need to pull the sprayer out very far to hit the whole sink area. The on/off lever on the side is great too, positioned perfectly so that you can flip it on with the back of your hand. Overall it was a nice upgrade for us and the price was reasonable for the look, quality of Delta brand, and functionality. Delta has great customer service as well so if we ever need to replace parts, I know they are there ready to send whatever you need fast.

Makes my kitchen look nicer
I got this a few weeks ago and was really amazed at the sleekness of the faucet. My water pressure feels really nice and I love that my sprayer and faucet are all in one. I’m giving it 4 stars because I felt like the install of the product could’ve went a little smoother. This wasn’t really simple. Overall, great faucet and I definitely recommend. It makes my kitchen look up to date.

Not so easy instalation
I got this Delta product and was happy with it as soon as i seen it... beautieful... looks nice works great and my family likes the look of it.. the only problem i had was that it wasnt an easy product to put in... the instructions were a life saver a life saver but still took almost 2 hours ( lets just say that im not the worlds greatest plumber ) but after it is all said and done im really impressed with how sturdy and well working this fausit is. Love the product just wish it was easier to put in!

I got this faucet and after installing , could not wait to test it out! I love that the head detaches and I can reach all parts of my sink! The water pressure is perfect also! It is just enough of a stream to not splash everywhere! I also love that it is easier to control than the old one I had. I absolutely love this new kitchen faucet and it looks so much nicer than the other one I had! Simply, AMAZING!!!!

Delta Shield Spray
We have used the Delta ShieldSpray faucet for a week now, the faucet was pretty easy to install if you take the time to read the directions throughly. We dont have a dishwasher so I felt this SprayShield faucet would really speed up the dish washing process and it did. The theory behind SprayShield is that it powers off the mess without making a bigger mess, no water and food sprayed all over. All you have to do is undock your wand , and use one your three spray modes, ShieldSpray, stream, or regular spray it's nice having options and great not having a mess.

I got the Single Handle Pulldown Kitchen Faucet by Delta model no. 9197-AR-PR-DST. It is a beautiful piece that adds class to my kitchen. The buttons on the pull down faucet gives this model different features that normal pull down faucets do not have. I really like this part.

Delta Cassidy faucet
So taking out the old faucet was the hardest part. The new one went in with ease, for under a sink. The faucet works awesome with the shield spray This is the coolest new feature because the water isn’t going all over the place. I would recommend this to any DIY person. The results are amazing and the faucet is a dream.

I love my faucet
This faucet has it all. We were impressed that we didn’t have to go to the hardware store to get anything extra. Everything we needed for installation was in the box. The design and finish of the faucet is absolutely beautiful. The one feature I really like is the ability to go from a stream of water to a spray with the touch of a button. With just a small pull the faucet turns into a hand sprayer. Overall the design of this faucet gives the sink a nice clean look without all the bulky levers and sprouts to clutter things up that I use to have. It has a nice lever to turn the water on and off and from cold to hot. I would definitely recommend this faucet.

Does the sprayer stay in the last-used mode when the water is turned off and on? I.e., if the spray is on, the water is turned off and then back on, will it still be in spray mode, or will it have defaulted to something else, like stream?

Thanks for your question. You will need to check the manufacturing date on the supply lines coming from the base of the faucet. You may also find this information on the box. If the date is prior to 8-1-2018 you will need to use the base ring that comes with the faucet. If the date is after 8-1-2018 you only need to use the gasket, not the base ring. Does this faucet come with a Deck Plate to cover 3 holes in the sink
Does this faucet come standard with a deck plate to cover the extra holes in a typical 4 hole sink? I see the soap dispenser is not included.

what is the difference between 'Euromotion' Diamond valve and Diamond valve

Is there a hole cover for the empty hole in the sink that matches a 9197-CZ-PR-DST? We have a RO filter and a soap dispenser, so the escutcheon plate won't work.
