Nice faucet
I absolutely love this faucet! The old style faucet for my kitchen was also a goose neck style but was able to pull out quiet far. Although you can't pull this faucet out, it does have a long reach to rinse out your sink. The adjustments I have to make using this faucet is just placing larger pots in the sink to fill with water. It is well worth the effort it took to adjust to putting the faucet in the magnetic clip & adjusting the way the spray is used on this style faucet head. The spray stays on when you switch the button from stream to spray, love this feature, it's my favorite! The faucet has become a nice addition to my kitchen. I did not pick out this style faucet, it was my husbands choice that I went with. It is really nice & after getting used to it for 3 weeks now I can honestly say I love it.

BAD DESIGN. QUICKLY STARTS TO LEAN OVER
A PLASTIC PART IS USED TO SUPPORT THIS HEAVY METAL FAUCET. THE THOUGHTLESS DESIGN IS GUARANTEED TO FAIL AND THE FAUCET STARTS TO LEAN OVER. I HAVE REPLACED THIS PLASTIC PART TWICE OVER A TWO YEAR PERIOD OF TIME. CLEARLY NO ONE OF AUTHORITY AT DELTA ACTUALLY USES THIS EXPENSIVE FAUCET, OR ELSE THEY WOULD SEE THAT IT WILL QUICKLY NOT STAND UP STRAIGHT.

Can you turn the water spray on and off at the spout?
When I am holding the spray head, I want to be able to start and stop the spray with the hand that is holding the spray head.

The water can not be stopped from the wand on the 9659-AR-DST. The wand only changes the spray modes from stream to spray.

Is there a different cartridge available with a higher flow rate or something I can do to the faucet to increase the pressure (flow). We tun at 50 to 65 pressure (pump on/pump off) and the faucet is slowing it down way too much.

I am sorry to hear there is an issue with your faucet and we are more than happy to assist you.
We always recommend a flush before installing a faucet as this will remove potential debris before it can enter our units. To ensure this is resolved fully we would like to go over a few potential causes.The issue that you have described is usually caused by a debris blockage in the lines. To locate that blockage you would need to flush out the valve body.
To flush out the valve body, first remove the aerator or wand and turn off the water supply to the unit. It is helpful to use a chip clip or clothespin to prevent the hose from retracting into the spout. Remove the handle and cartridge. Inspect the bottom of the cartridge for debris and rinse this off carefully so as not to loose the orange or blue gasket. You will need to turn the water on just a little bit from out of the handle area to ensure no debris has fallen into the lines under the cartridge.
Next, place a pitcher or bucket upside down over the open valve and turn the water back on full strength for 30 to 45 seconds. After the allotted time, turn the water off and reinstall the components.

1.)Do all the trinsic kitchen faucets have the spotschield protection? I am interested in the 9659 AR DST in the Arctic stainless. 2.)Is there any advantage to the Arctic Stainless other than different appearance (that is does it help ward off spots)?
Thank you for your question, David! Arctic Stainless is a durable finish however it is not a Spotshield finish. This Trinsic model is not available with the Spotshield Stainless finish, however the Trask models 1993-SPSD-DST/19933T-SPSD-DST are available in this finish and look nearly identical in style.

The upper section of the faucet leans forward. Is there a way to make it maintain a vertical position. This has been this way since it was installed.

The handle would need to be tightened with a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen wrench, the set screw is located under the button and will hold the handle in place. I have included a link to the parts diagram, so you can locate the set screw.

I plan on installing this faucet into a 3cm quartz countertop with an undermount metal sink. Will it need an escutcheon (or stabilization plate) to keep the faucet stable over time?

If the faucet is installed through both the quartz and the metal sink, the RP37490 stabilization aid should not be needed. The aid is useful when installing the faucet to a thin metal sink that can flex.
The faucet can be installed in a single hole, or a three-hole install with the RP64070AR escutcheon, not included.

How do you tighten the magnatite docking U on the end of the stem? It has a threaded screw in it. However, it spins and I see nothing to access screw end from. Has never really been tight from installation date.
