Terrible Sprayer
An otherwise nice kitchen faucet with a terrible sprayer. Although the sprayer appears to have an aerator it is not replaceable and does not aerate at all. All it does is splash everything after bouncing the water stream off of the bottom of the sink.

Perfect upgrade!
The faucet was straightforward and easy to install as a replacement for our previous one. The indicator light at the bottom is really helpful for showing whether the water is hot or cold, and the touch feature to turn it on and off is super convenient, especially when you don’t want to use your hands. We used to have a separate sprayer, but the all-in-one sprayer on this faucet is much more convenient and works flawlessly. It also looks sleek and modern, matching our stainless steel appliances perfectly.

Beautiful and functional
This was so easy to install. It comes with everything you need for an easy installation..it even has the batteries included! I love the touchless feature especially when cooking and needing to wash my hands. It's easy to clean and it doesn't show fingerprints or water spots on the metal finish. It seems very durable as well. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a new kitchen faucet!

Breaks when used
Installed by contractor during renovation, worked wonderfully for the first two years now the handle falls off. The piece where the set screw is supposed to tighten is broken so it cannot be tightened and stay on. Very disappointing.

Well-designed looking faucet
I am very pleased with the quality of this faucet. The pull-down is very flexible, and the connect-back mechanism performs with ease and precision. The stainless steel cleans easily. The water flow is excellent, and the spray is perfect.

Awesome Faucet
The faucet is nice and heavy and is designed to make it a simple installation.
Took me about 2 hours to install the faucet which included removing the old faucet and plate.
The water flow is excellent, feels super sturdy when installed and the stainless finish is beautiful.
The pull down works well and the magnetic head to faucet connection works really well.
You can't go wrong with Delta!

Easy to install faucet is wonderful! The sensors are great for when your hands are greasy or dirty and you don’t want to touch the handle. The pull down faucet is nice for aiming the water exactly where you want it.

Delta Essa Touchless Kitchen Faucet – A Game Chang
The Delta Essa Touchless Kitchen Pull-Down Faucet has completely transformed my kitchen experience. From its sleek, modern design to its effortless functionality, this faucet is nothing short of life-changing.
The touchless feature is an absolute game-changer. Whether I’m handling raw meat, baking, or just have messy hands, a simple wave activates the water—no more spreading germs or making a mess on the handle. The MotionSense technology is incredibly responsive and works flawlessly every time.
Beyond the convenience, the pull-down sprayer offers great flexibility, making rinsing dishes and cleaning the sink effortless. The MagnaTite Docking ensures the sprayer snaps back into place perfectly, so there’s no drooping over time. Plus, the water pressure is just right, and the different spray settings make everyday tasks even easier.
Installation was a breeze, thanks to Delta’s clear instructions and included components. And with their Diamond Seal Technology, I have peace of mind knowing this faucet is built to last without leaks or drips.
If you’re looking for a high-quality, stylish, and ultra-convenient kitchen faucet, the Delta Essa Touchless is worth every penny. I can’t imagine going back to a regular faucet—this one has truly changed the way I use my kitchen! I received this item complimentary for an honest review.

Did she really just do that?
Installation was very easy. It looks beautiful. Runs great. And I especially like it for when your hands are dirty. You can just touch it so that you can rinse off your hands without getting the handle all dirty. One downfall is I have a cat. She tried helping me set it up and when it was all set up, she was able to turn it on. So my concern is would she turn it on during the day when I wasn’t home? Yes you can turn off this function. But when you need it. You want it on.

Bad durability of touch feature solenoid.
I bought the touch activated faucet for my new kitchen sink as it seemed like quite an awesome product and concept. Unfortunately, the product's engineering is not good at all with regards to the solenoid that is used to open and close the water flow with the touch technology. I bought my faucet in very late June 2024. Installed in late August. It worked for two months and stopped working completely. Of course this was at 9:30 at night with a sink of dirty dishes. I replaced the two month old batteries with brand new batteries, and went through all of the trouble shooting videos on the Delta site. Alas, still no luck and and so I had to remove that portion of the faucet and make it a manual faucet.
I contacted Delta Customer service and told them all that I did and they told me they wanted me to do some more troubleshooting and would send me the links to these. In addition they wanted me to take the solenoid filter off and solenoid partially apart to clean it. THE FAUCET IS ONLY TWO MONTHS OLD AND WAS INSTALLED BY A MASTER PLUMBER. What device should require this much maintenance?
I went through all of the troubleshooting and cleaning the solenoid and still no joy. It makes a noise but doesn't open up flow of water.
I called the customer service back and they wanted a copy of my purchase receipt. They also wanted a copy of the part information on the solenoid. I sent them all they requested. They have never followed up by phone or email. I have never received a replacement solenoid.
I will call again tomorrow, but given my experience so far it doesn't sound like I will ever get a working touch faucet. It seems the goal is to just string you out until you give up.
In summary, touch technology needs some improvement and better durability. A warranty for an item is only good as the company that backs it. Unfortunately, I though delta was a better company than what I have experienced so far. It seems the goal of customer service is not to help, but to string you along until you give up on a warranty claim.
P.S. I got an email from Delta asking about my experience with customer service. I spent all of the time filling it out and giving all of this feedback. Despite asking for feedback, they either don't read it or don't care and I am not sure which is worse. No one from customer service or delta has reached out to me by phone or email. I have never received a replacement part from Delta.

Mixed feelings
The Delta Essa Touchless Kitchen Pull Down Faucet is undeniably pretty with its nickel finish, which looks sleek and is easy to wipe clean. The MagnaTite Docking feature is great, the spray wand snaps back into place with a strong magnet and doesn’t droop over time. The TempSense LED light that changes color based on water temperature ( range from blue for cool, purple for warm, red for hot) is a thoughtful touch, especially for households with kids to help prevent accidental burns.
That said, I have mixed feelings about the overall design. My previous faucet had copper tubes and brass parts, while this one uses plastic tubes, which feels like a downgrade. I’d happily pay extra for higher quality materials. The Touchless feature sounds great in theory, but in practice, it wasn’t for me. It requires 6 AA batteries (included), and you can activate the water by either placing your hand near the faucet or tapping it. Unfortunately, I found it too sensitive. It would sometimes shut off midwash or turn on unexpectedly, which became frustrating. After a week, I removed the batteries and now use it as a regular faucet with the handle.
For families with kids who can’t reach the handle, or for those who don’t frequently handwash dishes, this faucet could be a great fit. However, in my household, we often handwash chinaware, and the inconsistent activation was more of an inconvenience than a benefit. 3 stars.

Love my new touchless tap!
In general I am pretty happy with this product, it was my long term dream but I couldn't afford it. Now I enjoy it in full!
My husband installed it pretty quick because package included everything we needed for installation. The tap has stylish design and high quality components. I still need to figure out how sensors work, because sometimes it's super sensitive, sometimes it needs couple touches. Pull down hose doesn't really goes back itself, I have to force it a bit. Other than that everything works great. I love Delta products. My old tap was Delta as well, just basic model, and it worked perfectly around 7 years before it got some dysfunction.

Nice, sleek faucet, works well so far.
Overall pleased with the faucet. Installation was not too difficult (per my husband), you do need a little bit of space under the sink for the battery pack, so if you have alot under the sink already, you may need to rearrange. Touch IQ works good, almost too good, I need to decrease the sensitivity. The sink needs to be turned on for the touch to work, for some reason I didn't think of that, but it's helpful during meal prep when going back and forth to the sink between steps and/or cleaning. Looks nice, sleek. I would recommend this faucet. Deltas lifetime warranty is nice also!

Another level!
I received a Delta Essa Touchless Kitchen Pull Down faucet to try out. I can’t wait to have a touchless faucet as the one I currently have gets a lot of wear and tear, and can get pretty grimy with kids always being filthy and touching things, so this should help :)
It comes with everything you need for hookup, including batteries. Delta hit a home run here!

Miss the removable aerator...
Please bring back the removable aerator. This is my second Delta faucet. The quality of Delta is wonderful. I love the look and feel of the Essa faucet. My only complaint with my Essa faucet is that I cannot take out the aerator. We have mildly hard water, with a small amount of sediment. This is no problem when you can remove the aerator, which we usually do about every 2 months. We have had the Essa faucet 3 months and have had to remove the head nearly ever day to "tap" it out (nothing comes out, it just loosens the sediment temporarily) and have soaked it in 50/50 water & vinegar 2x. But it quickly plugs back up and we have terrible water pressure. The sediment is caught between the two aerators... If only I could just remove the one aerator and effectively flush it out! I would be a very happy person.

Disposable
This was a good faucet when first installed. It only lasted a year and a half. Garbage product. For the price, it should last longer than the disposable Home Depot $50 faucets. But no, it does not. I have to purchase a $60 part to get it working. So, avoid this, unless you’re ok with spending $60 evrey 18 months😒

Modern faucet great design… leaking in 6 months
I had this faucet installed less than 6 months ago and got a leak. The booklet provided with the faucet was for a different model. Now I’m trying to find the part number to order the Valve Cartridge… but not even the website shows me the part. I love Delta and have many of their products in my home….and haven’t had any issues before now.

Water spills all over the place
This was installed by the builder in my new home and unfortunately, whenever I open the tap, water spills all over the place on the countertop around the sink. When spoken to the builder, they replied that is how this product works. I had a Moen kitchen faucet in my earlier home, never had this issue and the water flow was much smoother. I definitely wouldn't recommend this product.

Easy install
I had purchased a cheaper faucet of this type several years ago. We loved it, but it didn't last. I guess the "you get what you pay for" was true. This time we made the smart decision and purchased a Delta based on our past experience and how well they hold up. The install was easy and it works perfectly. Great purchase!

Didn’t last 6 months
Just moved into a brand new house last summer and while I have been pleased with this faucet, the inside mechanisms are plastic and the handle is already malfunctioning. I’ve done my best to remove the handle and clean/grease the mechanism, but it is stuck and grinding with every use. The price should warrant better craftsmanship/quality.
