Indefensible handle designThe handle falls off. Delta provided a new handle under warranty and we paid a plumber to install it. But the new handle fell off within a week. It's the worst design for a handle I have ever seen. I use a rubber band to keep the handle on the most expensive faucet I have ever purchased.

Beautiful faucet from a name you can trust!Love this Delta Trinsic faucet! The champagne gold color is gorgeous and looks very high-end. It feels solid and sturdy, and the handle turns on and off super smoothly. The pull-down sprayer works great, and installation was easy- my husband had no trouble at all. Definitely recommend!

Quality you can trust!I’m currently in the process of remodeling my entire kitchen, and this faucet fits beautifully into my design plans. The quality is immediately noticeable—the faucet feels solid, substantial, and extremely well made. The finish is smooth and consistent, giving it a truly high-end, luxurious look.
I’m planning on using gold fixtures throughout my kitchen, and although this finish is technically champagne bronze, it works extremely well with that aesthetic. The tone is warm and elegant and blends seamlessly with other gold elements without clashing. The pull-down feature operates smoothly and feels sturdy, and the overall height and reach will be ideal as I switch to a single-bowl sink.
Delta is a brand you can trust when it comes to craftsmanship and reliability, and this faucet definitely reflects that reputation. It’s both functional and visually striking and will elevate the overall look and feel of my kitchen.

RustedRusted at the magnetic connector. We have had this for less than 3 years and the part that magnetically holds the hose in place has rusted and caused it to fail.
Someone responded that the sprayer is plastic. Are they saying that the pull out section (like the last 2 inches on the faucet) is plastic or do they mean the inside assembly of the sprayer is plastic. Also, is the water aerated?
Asked by: David
Thank you for your inquiry, David! The sprayer/wand assembly of the Delta Trinsic Pull-Down Kitchen 9159-DST faucet is non metallic and it operates in an aerated or spray mode via ergonomic buttons.

Tanya

For the 9159-DST & 9959-DST, is there a nozzle option that doesn't have a pullout hose or a nozzle head option without the sprayer and only aerator. Are there other solutions, not listed, to achieve this?
Asked by: Aaron
Hi, Aaron!
Thank you for your question. We do not have Delta Trinsic faucet that does not have pull down sprayer assembly. We also do not have sprayer assemblies that have just the stream mode option.

Can I attach a water filter to this faucet?
Asked by: Akko
Hi, Akko!
Thank you for your question. We do not recommend to install a water filter to the Delta 9159-AR-DST Faucet sprayer assembly, as potential pressure fluctuations during water filter operation may result in the hose rupturing.

Asked by: wbcIII
Hi, wbcIII!
Thank you for your question. The Delta 9159-BL-DST faucet may not be shipped to Brooklyn, NY 11237 as it has a flow rate of 1.80 GPM @ 60 PSI. The maximum flow rate to be within the NYC Green Code is 1.5 GPM @ 60PSI.

Is there a particular cleaning product I should use so as not to damage the finish? I have the brass/champagne bronze finish.
Asked by: Becca
Hi there Becca,
Thank you for your inquiry! A comprehensive list of cleaners is impossible to recommend because of the variety of materials that are a part of our many models of faucets. What may be fine for a spout may damage a handle.
To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Stubborn hard water spots are best avoided by this daily regime. If extra measure is needed, a solution of 50% white vinegar (never Apple vinegar) could be used by wiping, spraying or soaking.
Caution: Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. Use extreme care if such a surface is in the vicinity.
To soak a faucet or part still on a faucet:
1. Mix white vinegar and tap water to a half and half proportion.
2. Put a rag or towel in the solution to soak it up.
3. Wrap the rag or towel around the part.
4. Let sit for up to an hour or so.
5. Use the rag or a clean, soft toothbrush to scrub the remaining hard water buildup.
o Avoid harsh abrasives or polish
o Avoid bleach-based cleaners
o Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
o Avoid products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust, and those containing hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids and caustic agents.
o Because cleaning formulas can change without notice, Delta Faucet Company does not endorse any specific cleaner.
Best regards,
Tanya

does this Trinsic faucet have an aerorator - that softens the stream when not on spray mode?
Asked by: gary
Hi Gary, Thank you for your question. The model 9159-AR-DST does have an aerator that is part of the wand assembly that controls the flow of water when the faucet is in stream mode.
Thanks,
Dave

i purchased this model about 2 years ago. roughly 6 months ago the faucet started to make a pounding noise when the hot water is openned up then the hot water will shut off byitself. This is the only faucet in the house that does this.
Asked by: MAQSR
Hi, Thank you for contacting us.
We apologize for any inconvenience. We are more than happy to help you.
Reduced flow or no flow is typically caused by debris. If only one side is affected, there is debris in the supply line. To flush the supply line, first shut off the hot and cold water supply. Remove the hot supply line from the shut off valve and place the line into a bucket. Open the handle to the middle position, then fully open, then turn the cold supply back on for one minute. The cold water should flow through the faucet and out the hot supply tube. Reconnect the supply line and turn on both supplies. Check flow from the faucet. If this does not help, please let us know.
Please contact us at 1-800-345-3358 if you have any further concerns. We are open Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM central time, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday.

I would like to purchase this faucet as a replacement for my current one. I currently have 3 holes drilled and will need to cover the two I don’t need with this faucet. Do you have hole.covers? Coordinating soap dispenser?
Asked by: pamdem
Hello, pamdem. Thank you for you for your question! The RP64070 Escutcheon Plate will work with this faucet for a 3-hole 8" installation. Otherwise, you may also use a soap/lotion dispenser such as the RP1001 or the RP3816 Hole Cover.
