Delta Kitchen Faucet Model B1310LF

I notice the copper water supply tubes are much skinnier than your previous models -- like 1/4" (or even smaller diameter) -- the screw fitting will fit fine, but why did Delta reduce the size of the copper tubes? I was wondering if it was to reduce water pressure to be easier on the faucet. Will I notice any difference in water flow out of this faucet? I hesitate using one with the plastic pipes although I just talked to a property manager friend of mine and he says they are fabulous -- easy to install and he has even re-used them after remodeling. Just wondered about this one with the skinny copper inlet tubes, though.
Asked by: meg
Hi Meg, Thank you for your questiion. The flow rate in the model B1310LF faucet is controlled by the aerator at 1.8 gallons per minute. The size of the supply lines will not affect this flow rate. Thanks, Dave

How do you regulate water flow and pressure?

Asked by: Frank
Hi, Frank! Thank you for your question. The handle assembly is how you would regulate water flow and pressure. The handle pushed all the way up, will give full water pressure at 1.8GPM. The handle pushed down will slow the water pressure. Best Regards, Rosanna

i recently bought the delta B1331OLF and the water connecting tubes that connect the water to the faucet were not stationary they would turn around in the chassy of the faucet. Is that normal for this faucet at this time.

Asked by: randy
Hi, Randy! Thank you for your question. The Delta B1310LF Faucet supply lines are meant to be movable and not stationary so that installation for the faucet is easier to connect the lines. Best Regards, Rosanna

aerator

hello - 1) i just read a review on Hone Depot that said the spout is one single piece and that the aerator cannot be removed (in order to install a water filter). is this true? 2) is the reach (base to tip of the spout) longer than most similar faucets? it does look longer in the pictures. thanks

How to remove the point of the spout

I would like to mount a water filter at the spout, but I can't take off the tip of the spout. I wonder if this could be possible. Could you tell how to do that if possible?
Asked by: tad
Hi Tad, Thank you for your question. The aerator on the model B1310LF should unscrew counter-clockwise to remove. Sometimes mineral build up will make this more difficult. We suggest soaking a towel in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water and wrapping the towel around the aerator. Allow the solution to soak in and break up the mineral deposits. This should make it easier to remove. Thanks, Dave

In the "B1310LF-SS" version of this faucet, are the handle, spout, and base (escutcheon) made from solid stainless steel? Or are they some other metal that has been plated with stainless steel? I would like to be able to polish the faucet.

Asked by: Nathan H
Hello Nathan H, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model B1310LF-SS FOUNDATIONS® Single Handle Kitchen Faucet. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. We are happy to help! Stainless is the name or color of the finish. The finish is applied with a Physical Vapor Deposition process. Polishes would not be recommended. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to build-up of mineral deposits. Please see our frequently asked questions for more information about the cleaning and care of our finishes. https://www.deltafaucet.com/service-parts/frequently-asked-questions/cleaning-and-care Please reach out at customerservice@deltafaucet.com or 1-800-345-DELTA if you have any questions or need additional assistance. Asked by: Marty5736
Hi Marty5736, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about B1310LF! I am sorry for this inconvenience you are experiencing, I would like to troubleshoot the faucet with you. First check to make sure the temperature on the hot water heater is set at 120 or lower. Once that has been done, verify if you are getting flow but not hot enough or no flow at all. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
