Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low Water Flow/Kinks Easily The only good thing about it is that it looks good. I came onto the website to see if there was directions on how I could myself take it apart and make the water come out faster. Plus in moving it around with the 'shower' feature on, it kinks very easy and the shower water starts to wane. Was looking for a way to correct these things myself. What I found was one review from another customer that took the words right out of my mouth. Between the buying the faucet and paying the plumber (who recommended Delta) it cost me $400. That is a lot of money to be so disappointed and aggravated every day. I honestly don't know what to do that won't cost me another small fortune to fix this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mixed Feelings, But Serviceable Attractive Faucet We replaced our old standard Delta faucet with this one, with the pull-out and spray option. We like those features, and we have become comfortable with this faucet. But... We had the plumbers back twice after the original installation because the water flow was utterly unacceptable. To make a long story short, adequate water flow required the removal of at least one if not two of the internal mechanisms, one of them I think a water saver feature. After that, because of sediment continuing to collect in the screens, I took the aerator off to clean the screens, and removed two of the four screens as well. Considering that we paid quite a bit for this faucet, we were not happy with so much tinkering just to get an acceptable water flow. Also, the hose limits the angle available for using the spray function. And the hidden toggle for the spray function took a bit of practice. Our kitchen is 1980's, and the tall pull-down faucet was much too big and industrial looking - this faucet is a much better fit for our space. Once we had the water flow ok, we have had no problems with the functioning of the faucet itself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not seat easily This pull out does not seat easily into it place. Flow is low and sprayer option has little power.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Faucet looks modern and is easy to use. Faucet looks good. However it collects water spots and we have a water softener. That is unsightly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good Product We bought the Delta faucet for our kitchen sink on the recommedation of the sales clerk, who stated that she had good reviews from other customers and that the warrenty was the best in the industry.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from very low flow This faucet is barely 1 year old and now the flow is terrible. Removed aerator in an attempt to clean it and now can't get it back together. Please send detailed instructions as to how to refit the pieces as they don't seem to be going back together in the way they came out. Is there a reason there are THREE screens on it? Thank you for the help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good quality product that has an awesome lifetime guarantee. This product works as it is supposed to and has a nice finish to it. I had this same model of faucet before this new one. I had some trouble with the faucet. I called the company and they gladly sent me a new replacement at no cost. The customer service lady was exceptional and friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great product We are happy with the faucet we bought 4 years ago. Wish delta had some sort of an extension for the wand to stick out further. Otherwise extremely happy

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great but could function better. The hand held sprayer hose is thin and low quality. it kinks and collapses too easily. The spray button does not stay fully depressed during use. It needs to be repressed every time i use the faucet otherwise the water trickles out the sprayer

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is the worst faucet I've ever used in my life I ordered this faucet when I was building a house. I hated it from day one. I've kept it for 9 months, hoping it would grow on me but the more I use it the more I hate it. First of all, the flow rate is horrible. It was so bad that I had my plumber come out and look at it to see if there was a problem with the water pressure. Nope! It just sucks. And the sprayer is horrible also. The hose kinks up when you move it around and the nozzle is pointed down so it's hard to clean the sides of the sink. I always read reviews, but I have never taken the time to write one. But this faucet is so horrible I felt the need to share. I am here looking for another one. I prefer side sprayers anyway. I'm going to have to have another hole cut in my granite, but I don't care. I hate this faucet!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks Good but does not perform Purchase a Delta Foundations B4310LF-SS Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet for a new construction - Did not provide good flow or pressure from the outset. Cleared the nozzle filter - nothing causing a problem. Called the plumber back and he checked the connections and the pressure on the water lines there were no issues and line pressure was good. We removed the faucet head and spray handle from the connecting hose. Water pressure was good and normal. Can only think following our experiences and reading other reviews that this is a design feature and there are restrictors or values in the spray head. If this is the case then this item needs to be advertised accordingly as a low or restricted pressure flow faucet. This item was not what I was expecting. Hamilton

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a leaky no-name that looked almost exactly like this. It does what it's supposed to do and I am pleased, especially with the great price I got on faucet direct!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leak Worked good for several (3-4) years. Just had the button to toggle from the spray to aerator button had a leak under it and slowly lifted the plastic up. Can't find anything online for a fix on a Sunday night. Hoping for some sort of help. I guess we'll see how it goes! Not a bad faucet, just having issues now. Our hard water gave it (or any other faucet) issues as the build up makes it hard to pivot the faucet after a few years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Bought this faucet for new home we built, as others have said the switch between spra & stream wouldn't hold on either without holding the button down.Poor stream with plenty of pressure and pull out was difficult. Got a new handle from Delta, same problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not completely satisfied with this product. I like the looks of this product and the finish. What i don't like is the aerator. When I use the spray feature then switch to the stream it seems like the spray doesn't completely shut off. It also doesn't seem to have enough pressure. We have had Delta products before and never seemed to have this problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This faucet failed for us, 3 different times Faucet originally installed in new house 2003, broke at base in 2010, replaced. Broke on stem in 2011, replaced. Broke at the hose/wand assembly in 2016. Changed to different model.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as expected Water flow is very slow; can not even spray peanut butter off a knife with hot water. If I had nor thrown my old faucet out, I would take this one back to the store.
Date published: 2016-01-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This product has poor pressure This faucet has no water pressure and the sprayer has better pressure/ The sprayer when not pulled out sprays water all around the sink. I have a double stainless sink. I always have to wipe the back and sides of my sink. I use the sprayer mode only because the pressure is much better.
Date published: 2015-06-11
Rated 3 out of 5 by from High quality, low flow Despite my modifying the flow valve in an effort to increase the flow rate, this faucet (and probably all newer faucets) sprays a weak stream of water, which is significantly less than the faucet it replaced... apparently its an attempt to save water. Unfortunately, this results in using more water to accomplish what my old faucet did in a single squirt. Otherwise, it's a high quality, all metal unit (no plastic) and was simple to install.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FIRST DELTA DISAPPOINTMENT We recently purchased this Delta faucet through our plumbing contractor for our laundry room and kitchen (new construction). The faucet was displayed in their showroom, but was not operational. It should be removed from their showroom! The buttons on top are difficult to push and get satisfactory spraying results and the hose is difficult to get in and out and often cuts off the flow of the water. The operation has been very frustrating to say the least. Fortunately, we realized this before we had our kitchen faucet installed and were able to purchase a different faucet. We have built several new homes and have always purchased Delta faucets. We have been very happy in the past. This faucet should be discontinued or redesigned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product - fast delivery Delivery was fast. Installation was normal. Product performing well. Negatives are: (1) spout/spray hose kinks up very easily. (2) Must press & hold spray button to get a good spray and unit is taller than expected...handle bumps against shelf below window. Other than that I'm very pleased with this product and the fast delivery.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Low Lead Compliant Single Handle Kitchen Faucet I purchased this item a couple of months ago and only had it installed last weel. So far it works as expected. The look is very important and its design is awesome.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faile after two years Faucet came loose. Tightened it up, and now base rotates when head is rotated. Spray/stream buttons hard to use. Not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money We've had this faucet for almost a year now and it just gets worse. the hose kinks so if you pull it out too far or not far enough it will just let a little water out at a time. We have to find the happy balance. When you switch back and forth between the spray and stream the aerator shoots off into the sink. Today I had the garbage disposal running and the aerator popped off and now the screen is missing. The soap dispenser doesn't work half the time... all around this is a piece of junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst faucet ever Bought the DeltaB4310LF faucet. Sprayer is terrible and will not lock on spray, you have to hold down the button or it partially spray. It is now four months old and it leaks around the mounting. Have to keep a towel around the base. What a piece of junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from too tight, or too loose Our original faucet was installed in new house 2003. It became too loose and nut and washers etc became scaly and rusty, which prevented it from staying tight. Replaced with identical model in June 2010. Now, Nov 2011 it is too loose again and plumber cannot get it tightened,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect all-in-one water control This is my dream of a kitchen faucet, incorporating intuitively all the functions I want--good looks, high discharge outlet, swings between two sinks, built-in extension hose which converts from stream to spray, and very silky and intuitive fingertip control. .

is the spout metal or plastic

Asked by: tim
The spout is metal, solid and sturdy. The one we have is brushed silver color, and looks nice (doesn't water spot to speak of). The toggle area for the spray function is some sort of flexible rubbery material. We have had the faucet just under a year, and it still looks like new.

Model # B4310LF Two (2) Questions====

1) What does the letter "B" in model Number stand for? 2) I have a three (3) hole sink. Any reason why I could not install this model using the 1-hole method? Wouldn't the 8-inch escutcheon plate cover the water faucet holes spaced 4-inch apart?
Asked by: FIGO
Hi GT, Thank you for your questions. Delta Faucet model # B4310LF is our Core Basic entry level faucet. The model number for the Chrome Finish is B4310LF. Regarding your last question, the escutcheon plate can only be used with an 8" spread on the holes. It will not work if your holes are only 4" apart. Thanks. Jody

Which line is for the hot water? The long or the short hose?

Asked by: nick
Hi Nick, Thank you for your question. Normally the longer line is the cold water line. There should be a sticker on the faucet lines denoting which side is the hot. Thanks, Dave
