Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible faucet. This kitchen faucet is the worst we’ve ever had. We’ve had less expensive faucets that were so much better. Switching to spray is difficult. It has so little power when using spray. You can’t swivel the hose as it won’t work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from B4310LF Faucet is less than a year old and is failing at the rubber gasket that switches between spray and pour. Hard to operate because of kinking hose and low flows.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible! The mechanism which switches between stream and spray is designed to fail. What makes it worse, my plumber installed it. Now I have to pay for a new faucet and incur a 2nd installation fee. This ain't rocket science, Delta. Or maybe it is.

is the spout metal or plastic

Asked by: tim
The spout is metal, solid and sturdy. The one we have is brushed silver color, and looks nice (doesn't water spot to speak of). The toggle area for the spray function is some sort of flexible rubbery material. We have had the faucet just under a year, and it still looks like new.

Is there a way to increase the water pressure through this faucet?

Asked by: Prof Betty
Hi Prof Betty, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Foundations® Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet In Chrome MODEL#: B4310LF has a maximum flow rate of 1.8 GPM @ 60 PSI, If you are not getting the full amount I would make sure the hot and cold shut-offs are open equally and fully. Low flow can also be caused by a blockage or debris, I have included flushing instructions below. 1. Please start but shutting off the water to both hold and cold supplies, and then put the handle in the on position to drain the water from the faucet. (This will also ensure the shut-off is complete off.). 2. Please remove your handle with the 1/8" Allen wrench. There may be a blue/red button cover that can be removed with a sharp nail file or tweezers. 3. Please pull the handle off of the cap, which can be unthreaded from the body. If you see a white plastic adjusting ring, this would be removed by the tool that comes with the repair kit first. *This should only be hand-tight, but if you need to use a tool, we would recommend a strap wrench. (soaking a rag in 50/50 solution and wrapping around anything too tight will help loosen up the threads) 4. The eternal parts: cam and packing, ball assembly, seats, and springs would need to be removed. At this time, I recommend placing all the parts into a bowl for reassembling. 5. Place the towel around the faucet on the counter and the bucket over the valve where you removed all the internal parts. Please turn both water supplies on. Please flush the faucet out for about 30 seconds to a minute. 6. After this, shut the hot and cold supplies off, reassemble and check for the flow. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole
