Soap bottle neck breaks
I have had two of these over roughly the past ten years. The second container just broke at the threads, as did the first one, and the bottle fell. Believing there wasn't any soap left, I "filled" it and had soap all over the inside of the cabinet.
You may feel five years wasn't so bad. I will look for one with a metal soap container

Okay soap dispenser
I still like the minimal look of this soap dispenser but was disappointed with the funnel and opening size. Filling it with soap was a slow and tedious process because the opening would easily stop allowing the soap to flow and instead it was all spilling out on the counter. My solution was to dilute the soap down and pour very slowly.

Great Value
I have these dispensers in brass and chrome on five sinks. They are the best by far and they last the longest. I have had five other types of dispensers that were actually more expensive and they do/did not perform nearly as well these. The finish is great and the price is right.

worst purchase for new kitchen
Pump does not stay together. This unit is difficult to operate because the top of the plunger is always loose from the pump section.

Delta Faucet RP 1001 Classic Soap Dispenser
Ordering was quick, pleasant, and timely arrival. I have used the entire set- faucet, sprayer and soap dispenser for several years. The problem with the soap dispenser is that it created a second hole on the top of the dispenser bar which was quite nasty! When I ordered a new one, I found that I only needed the chrome part, as the brass part was glued or caulked to my granite counter top. No problem, though, I'll just have it for back up, if needed.

Works Great gets rid of soap bottles next to sink
This is the 2nd one we have installed. Our 1st one is 12 years old and still works great in the kitchen. We picked the stainless steel. We put this one on our laundry new laundry sink. Takes any kind of liquid soap. However if you plan to use a foaming type of soap it will not come out as foam just liquid. Other than that it works fine.

This is a great item. Would make one suggestion to the maufacturer in that the length of the nozzle should be 1/2 inch longer which would put the soap into the sink better.

Exactly as ordered and an improvement over the orignial design. The unit fits better in the opening, which will allow for a longer life. The style and finish of visible components is identical to past design, but the underbody is much improved. The addition of the funnel was brilliant.

Works great!!!
I have looked at soap dispensers for a while for a while.They seem to very expensive at most places and the cheap one that I bought at a name brand store didn't work after about a week. When I ordered this one I was skeptical. It works great and did not cost alot. Very happy with this product and would recommend it.

Good soap dispenser for faucet
I am generally pleased with the soap dispenser I purchased for my Delta faucet. The only problem with it is that it is chrome and the faucet is stainless steel. The difference is almost undetectable except to me. Since I chose the part number for the soap dispenser from the part number of my faucet to replace the original one which had broken, I was suprised to find that it was chrome. It does, however, work well. Thanks!

I got what I ordered and needed
When I had the first one installed it worked great but then from unscrewing and screwing the fill bottle back on a number of times over a 3 year period the attachment got stripped. I received the exact replacements with a funnel for the soap(which I didn't receive the first time). It works great and should last me many years to come.

Functional soap dispenser
I'm pleased with this soap dispenser. I've never had one before, and really appreciate the convenience and aesthetics over a bottle of liquid soap on the sink. It's functional, doesn't leak, and comes with a handy funnel with a large reservoir.

Finally, one that works!
After replacing many of the cheaper soap dispenser models found in hardware stores, I decided to pay a little more and try this Delta model. It is was not only better built, but pumped the soap much more reliably than any of the other models.

Q&A
Is it possible to order just the Head Assembly (RP21905) and pump (RP21908)? Spout on the head is broken and I can't seem to unscre the nut that holds the entire part in place. The 2 parts I mentioned would fix my problem and situation. Thank You

Can this dispenser use foam soap?
Thank you for your question, Lauren13. Most standard dish soaps, hand soaps, sanitizers, and lotions can be used. Foam soap will not foam.

A little plastic ring broke and my dispenser no longer works properly. Also a little bit of the finish chipped off of the top. Do I need to purchase an entirely new dispenser or can I get parts? I'm not sure what part I need based on the technical spec
