Rated 1 out of 5 by from Manufacturing defect with bottle See pictures. Old bottle and pump on left, new bottle and pump on the right. Notice how the new pump does not go down into the bottle. Why? The new bottle has a ridge on the inside which prevents the it from going down far enough. This is an exact replacement for a 25 year old version of the same pump assembly. The old bottle does not have the ridge on the inside, the new bottle has a ridge on the inside of the bottle which prevents proper installation/functioning of the unit. Purchased this through an authorized retailer and it was delivered in a sealed Delta box.

I have small hands, and when I put my hand underneath it to push down, the soap completely missed my hand and went straight into the sink. I got this one because it looked like it had the shortest dispenser arm, but no. Still too long. Had to return.

We have purchased the faucet 470-WH -DST, in white at Lowes, will the RP 1001 white soap dispenser match the faucet in white ?  I see the Brizo name in your ad for the soap dispenser, are they the ones that make it and will it match the white color.

Does this dispenser match the style and finish of my new Delta faucet 300-SS-DST-A? Or is there another style dispenser that would be a better match?

My sink was installed up against the hole where the soap dispenser tube comes down so I need a threaded tube that is 2" longer. Is there a longer tube that I can get so I can get the wing nut on there and secure it to the sink lip? RP1001AR

RP1001 specifications do not provide details about materials used to make it. What specific metal or metals are used to manufacture the major components of this dispenser (i.e.: the pump head, collar and finish plate) and what is used for which parts?

A little plastic ring broke and my dispenser no longer works properly. Also a little bit of the finish chipped off of the top. Do I need to purchase an entirely new dispenser or can I get parts? I'm not sure what part I need based on the technical spec

pump tube available as part?

I purchased a house with an older version of this Delta soap dispenser. It is missing the the pump tube and the bottle. Can these be purchased separately?

Do you sell a replacement top portion of this dispenser?  I’ve been happy with it, however, the metal on the top of the thin tubular “soap spout” started flaking off and has consequently rusted in several places.  Looks terrible!

Can dish soap for washing dishes be placed in the dispenser?

I do not like leaving the dish soap bottle on the counter. Would regular Dawn liquid dish soap (not the foaming kind) work in the dispenser? I will need to decide if I want an extra hole drilled into my new granite counter top.

We have just replaced our 18 year old Delta kitchen fixtures with new Delta fixtures & ordered this soap dispenser to use the extra hole in our silestone. The threaded part would not fit into/thru the hole (standard size). Can silestone be filed a bit?

Hi CJ14, Please accept our apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing with the soap dispenser. We are happy to help! Issues are often caused by soap accumulating and plugging the dispenser over time. The first step is to soak the head and pump in warm water. That will soften the buildup and allow it to be cleared. After soaking, connect the head to the pump. Place the straw end into a cup of clean, warm water and activate the pump to rinse the components out. Reassemble the soap dispenser and test it out with soap as normal. All parts are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home in which the product was first installed.
